A 7-year-old boy, my nephew Ryan Abrar Neel, is learning English with Dr. Priscilla, a native ESL teacher from North Carolina, USA. In this class, he is reading a biography of Tomás Rivera (December 22, 1935 - May 16, 1984). Tomás Rivera was a Chicano author, poet, and educator. He was born in Texas.
