  • It's been a long time and I'm pretty rusty but this was an interesting enough case study to bring me back to UA-cam to share with all of you.
    Part 2: • '13 Charger SRT 8 - No...
This series is covering the diagnosis of a 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 which has had some engine modifications done and shortly after developed a no crank complaint. Consistent no cranks are easy after all right?
This is a multi-part series consisting of on-car diagnosis as well as analyzing the service info to guide us to the next logical step.
The tools needed for this were service information, a multi-meter, and a scan tool. Nothing overly complex, just taking the time to read and understand the service info and applying that to help our data analysis.

This is the video style that makes you awesome Chris!
I love your "splitting the system in half" concept! It's something that I personally gained (amongst many things) from Chris 😉👍
The research before attacking is what makes us so successful...so really awesome that you included that!
What can make it so difficult is that we need to make sure we understand the system as a whole, but more importantly know where to look/find all the critical inputs that are required for the CAN COMM to take place between all the players on the network before any of the critical players will consider playing ball!
I really love how you stressed checking inputs via scan data...it shows how we can use that to get a direction before ripping into something.
God bless you man and thanks for sharing this amazing series with us!

Always LOVE how you break down the circuits first and make sure you have a COMPLETE understanding, I've been saying it FOREVER in my presentations and to techs like yourself "KNOW YOUR OPPONENT". Huge Thumbs Up, My Friend.

I'm dealing with the a no power on the start stop button, no crank, keyfob not recognized. The dealership told me I need to replace the RF hub and WIN Module and quoted me $1600 to fix. Seems a bit overpriced.
