The Contagion is even good for DPS on still targets, but that’s not even a fraction of its true potential. If a boss is chasing you, it will charge straight through all of the exploding orbs that the arrows leave behind doing an ungodly amount of DPS and you don’t even have to aim very much.

Im aware but i wanted to use a classless build for these kills. The times would probably change somewhat if you used the appropriate class items/effects.
@Blightbox soma dps with a optimized ranged build is around 600k dps. Made fighting Jared much easier

That was kinda unfair for temporal umbrella since it only uses 5 minion slots which mean it's more likely to be used as a supporting weapon not a main one
Favourite one is Eternity cuz its so easy to use it both single and multi target scenario while still having amazing dps, and its mana cost is nonexistent.

@@damsen978 you do know that the entire point of the lyrics in the song are for lore reasons, right? Plus, calamity is practically in no way Terraria in terms of its bosses/songs. And the lyrics are amazing, that man has the voice of an angel.

as someone who progressed only true melee and is currently doing a mage i see this as *what I was finally looking for, overpower.*
I agree the mage weapons are busted, but personally I'd but scarlet devil in s tier as well simply because the steath strikes are capable of shredding every boss in the game

It's DPS used to be the highest in the mod until they completely reworked it
A cool synergy with the elemental excalibur is to enchant it with "tainted" which replaces the projectile throwing abilities and replaces it with two true melee weapons. This essentially doubles the damage of it making it deal (with accesories and demonshade armor) up to 600,000 dps. I beat nameless deity like that skipping most of it's phases in one cycle. It is probably the best weapon in calamity as a whole

I would love to see this with more weapons like the murasama OR THE DANG STORM MAIDEN'S RETRIBUTION, also it will be more fun if you used class builds instead of a classless one so rogue and summiner aren't terrible
Elemental excalibur still prob my favorite because of the sheer ammount of accessory buffs going up to 300 percent dmg wigh slots left over and since its homing its vrry practical. Also earth with speed buffa is absurd i got 200k dpa

Universe Splitter's megalaser is pretty much the only thing that's better, but it's short and requires some skill

@@WojtekXD-bx7jb it doesnt require that much skill for endgame bosses because exo mechs and scal stick to the end of your screen so you control where it is, yharon stays in place to shoot fireballs, and devourer of gods is a giant hitbox.

it's an item. It replaces adrenaline with nano machines, which give you like 360 hp over 2 seconds when you use the nano machines, you don't lose progress of the bar when hit, just stops generating for 1 second when hit. it's useful to survive, but you don't get the damage boost

That depends on the target. TTPMHM works well in every case, but draconic destruction is better against big enemies.

@bruh from all my experience rogue has sucked, I’ve followed everything by the book and still don’t do more dps than ranger
@@hehmarbs I do, i've been playing whit my friends lately and chose the rouge class (revengeance expert) i was able to completely annihilate trough all the bosses in prehardmode (apart from WoF but that's because we haven't fought it yet) using only the Sand Dollar, which is literally a weapon obtainable as soon as you defeat the giant clam miniboss (which is dogshit easy lmao)

how are you generating adrenaline while still getting hit? also a lot of these weapons are situational so saying triactis true pallidinium mage hammer of might is a B teir is correct for single target where as for crowd control it is one of the best one there are. and also earth is brokenly op as you can just stand still to use it on DoG

and funny when we got to a point in terraria calamity that we started using calamitas as a dummy (at least that's how it happened to me when i got elemental excalibur and flamstead ring i got to a point where i was bored and used the cheat sheet to spawn the 5 final bosses of the game together to kill and I managed without using any potion)

Why my universe splitter doing the same damage before and after I use the summoner set? Doing like 18k damage/tick even after getting summoner bonus damage (same as not using summoner set)
however some classes might seem dominant in terms of power throughout the playing, at the end all of them have almost equally strong weapons and that is amazing for a mod to be so balanced
