East-west is even and north-south is odd. But because of the geography of Louisiana, a lot of state highways go in semi-circles or have drastic changes of direction. It’s not any less standard than the US Highway system. This is just a glaring example of an anomaly.

LADOTD doesn't seem to have a standardized direction system..like US highways....Imagine that?🙃
