This gives me another reason to leave California and find a home in Texas! I visited Austin on a business trip back in the 80's. It was a wonderful experience. I fell in love with the beautiful people there.
I can't imagine the amount of detailed work and construction that went into something of this magnitude. Let's hope this and other similar displays will preserve this classic and traditional hobby for generations to come.
Oh my gosh this is literally the exact same video footage from the Dream Plan Build series from Model Railroader. Literally the first DVD in the series.
I can spend the rest of my life at northlands the work and effort that the people put into this. Breathtaking

The Nostalgia I went here when I was 3, I might go again this summer
I've been to Northlandz twice and I don't remember seeing the mini golf platforms.
I watched another episode of this model train, the guy who made is really sympathetic and something of his own.
simply amazing.
I remember this hopefully itll still be open if I decided to go again
Totally Amazing.

4:59 my dream home WOW!!!!
There are no words.....
Should've hired a poet.
Such a big layout but they are running 5 car trains.
Whatever happened to Tracks Ahead; I know it's not listed on PBS. But is it still available somewhere, and are new episodes available on DVD?
Wow!
6:21 🤬 that truck on that log car needs to be put back on the track!!!
How does Northlandz compare to Wunderland Hamburg?
Very nice but it is not the largest in the world. Miniatur Wonderland in Hambug and Russia in Miniature in Saint Petersburg are far, far larger.
How much did Northlandz cost?
The Modder I think $2Mil
The Modder idk
Shut down probably, due to guess what ?
Fantastic!
