Thanks Randy, but without a doubt the top Zoom product is the Finesse Worm in green pumpkin fished on a 1/8 oz darter head with an Aberdeen (gold) hook. It works any time of year as well as at night. It has been a standard of bassers here in GA since the early 90’s.

    2) Flukes, doesn’t matter what size. Thy flat out catch fish.

Hey Randy, I've been fishing for 55 years and Zoom is my favorite soft bait company. We agreed on the Trick worm but I have to go with the Super Fluke because of it's versatility. Great texas rigged and makes a terrific chatterbait trailer. And my all-time favorite Zoom lure is the Horny Toad. I'm partial because I caught my PB of 11 lbs 5 ozs on it. Back in the 90s the joke was on my home lake Clark Hill. Any worm will catch fish, as long as it's a Zoom U-tale and long as it's Watermelon Seed. We fished it on a Carolina Rig, up to 5 feet long. First creature bait I remember was Zoom Creepy Crawler. They came pre rigged. They didn't invent the Fluke, Lunker City's Fin-S was that. But they did improve it. The Fish Doctor was our winter time bait, called the Do Nothing worm back then. We fished the Trick Worm weightless on a short leader. Called it the floating worm, even though it really doesn't float. It's now the #1 worm on Clark Hill now, fished anyway possible. You know, as long as it's watermelon seed

That you will recognize as almost minature bass lures, if one knows anything about bass lures. The frogs he has are some. There's also Texas rigging types of flies. He actually makes them for saltwater I think (surprisingly small baits can work in saltwater). My guess is that 'clear' water in freshwater too, like saltwater where fish can visually hunt. Using too big a lure might not be advantageous. I've always fished 'clear' freshwater. And the large fish really don't mind small lures. They're just as effective (within reason), as large baits. Where water gets darker for a certain amount of time, larger baits can clean up too.

Fishing my Home lake Clark’s Hill and all the surrounding herring lakes my #1 is a fluke #2 is a speed crawl flipping, trailers ect. #3 when the dog woods and the azaleas are in bloom the Bubble gum trick worm is deadly!

These are Randy's opinions from his years of experience using his preferred methods. You can't be mad at him for his pics, lol. I'd have fluke there somewhere, but that's me.
