@@jaromor8808 by the way I just updated my website to clarify, so thanks for the feedback! In theory Android Auto should work for Android, however it doesn't seem to work properly when I've tested this. So I recommend retro-fitting an original Jaguar bluetooth module for making phone calls with an any phone including Android, it's a fairly simply addition as most cars I believe have the wiring in place from the factory. For example have a look here: www.jaguarforum.com/showthread.php?t=112758
The touchscreen itself is needed for the upgrade as there are hardware upgrades to the screen itself. I've received and sent hundreds of these units abroad, international shipping is no problem.
Bonjour j'ai regarder votre vidéo sur le système carplay sur une Jaguar s type et c'est très bien mais vous avez pas monter comment en l'installer sur le poste radio
Hello mate, I cannot access your site due to a certification issue, "connection not secure". Is there any way around that? Also, is there a video installation guide for the jagdroid system? Got an X-type from 2007 and I would love to install this myself.
What browser are you using, as it works fine for me on Chrome? No video on installation I'm afraid but there are instructions on my website if you are able to access it: www.jagdroid.org/installation-version5-1/
@@Randyolsson there is a way to retro-fit the original Nav to which you could then do the JagDroid upgrade, but it's a bit more work and needs additional parts: www.xtype.uk/projects
hello i'm french and live in france, i have a jaguar stype r from 2002 and i would really like to update the screen how much will it cost me from france? dsl from my english google translation is to load this sentence lol
Would love to get these upgrades here in the US… love my Jaguar.
I've sent plenty of conversions to the US, drop me an email on info@jagdroid.org if you are interested.
@@JagDroidI really want to upgrade my system, but I don’t have the screen on my s-type. What can I do?
7:40 Huh? Now I am confused, on your website it says:
*What can’t it do?*
_"It doesn’t support hands-free phone calls..."_
The standard JagDroid upgrade doesn't support hands-free calling unless you add the optional Apple CarPlay kit shown in this video.
@@JagDroid Ah ok... Is there similar addon for Android users?

is there an upgrade for the 2003 xjr? Do you service US based customers?
How’s the SQ compare from OEM to this modification?
Can you perhaps do something with the navigation system and the CD changer in the trunk. They are easier to send abroad.

how much would this cost for shipping from and to germany?

If I want to use wireless Car play, I have to buy an extra sim kart, did I understand it right?
What android system would you use for an Jaguar X200 S type year 1999 2000 First edition new S type
With the Jaguar Bluetooth module, do you get the whole pressing a steering wheel button and asking Siri to nav/call/message functionality?
How would this integrate/work in scenarios where the native Jaguar handsfree microphone and speech module ?
Nice!
if I wanted Android auto would I also need to get a dongle, and would one of the wireless ones be an option? could I also get a mic?
Any plans for a similar solutions for the XJ 351? (cross fingers)
