Le present perfect continu est nécessaire dans cette phrase car on parle d'une action qui a commencé dans le passé et qui est toujours en cours - attention : ce n'est pas en cours à l'instant T mais cela fait partie de mon quotidien. ✅🤩

On a la forme continue (present perfect be + -ing) car on parle d'une activité. Avec un verbe d'état comme "to know", on aura la forme simple :
I've known you for two years.

DEPUIS : for + durée / since + point de départ (date)
Ex. for a long time // since last year
