I just beat Days Gone and got platinum trophy. It is one of my favorite games of all time. I love how the setting is in Oregon and some of the locations are real-life places.
Finished the game last night at around 50 hours. God damn I loved this game so much. Had a rough beginning but Deacon and everyone else started growing on me. Really hope Sony realizes their mistake and greenlits the goddamn sequel. Will buy at full price.

The scenes with Sarah take my breath away
Ikr just got it from ps plus and went to a church and he looked at the photo of her I tried to get in but I couldn’t so I assumed it was made for a future mission to get into the church and I kinda like Brian just because of how he had to do with deacon’s sister

Sarah was literally the biggest bitch I've ever seen in gaming. She basically ruined the game's story for me. They had an entire cast of characters that reflected ridiculously well off Deacon, specifically in Boozer, Kouri, Garret, Copeland, and especially Mike and Rikki, and yet this is what they went with. The one twat who pulled Deacon's character down instead of bringing him further up. Such a shame. The game is an 8/10 to me. 10/10 gameplay, 10/10 music, 10/10 voice acting, 10/10 graphics, 2/10 story. What a damn shame. I'm on my third playthrough trying to see if maybe there's something I missed, but nope. It's actually just this bad.
This game has a special place in my heart. Yes, it's not perfect. The story has issues with cliches. The world building is has some flaws (especially how you unlock the areas). But the overall story is great and has a lot of details and turns. The characters are really great. But whats makes this game special is the atmosphere. The world, the sound effects, the soundtrack. So good. The soundtrack is one of the best in gaming history.
Easily one of my favorite games ever. Off the bat you feel immersed in a dangerous, lively world.

I never had a console. But it just came out on pc, so i picked it up. I'm absolutely in love with the game, and the soundtrack is fantastic.

An amazing soundtrack for one hell of an amazing game. the best zombie game out there in my opinion and one of the best games to come out last decade, i like it even more than RDR2 and everyone knows how good that is.
Agree. When it came out everyone (me included) were like "Gosh, do we really need another zombie game?" Yes we did... It is the best one out there. Also what did it for me was the relationship between Deacon and Sarah and their acting
Agreed on everything except the RDR2 part. This is in my top 10(story/campaign) games but rdr2 is just...so good its almost impossible to top it

I just completed the story to this game today. I have to say, I’m so glad I gave this game another chance. It’s hard in the beginning but you just gotta grind & get better. This game really is a masterpiece & everything about it is soooooo good ! I love it

61 hours , jeezus crist........... never thought i'd stay the course and i'm knowhere near 100% complete . First game i've ever played in over 30 years that i've actually not muted the music , the sound track for this game is amazing .

This game was an absolute gem! So much so I bought the art book.
Amazing game, still play it. Im willing to bet that the second part will blow everyone's mind for sure. We have to take in consideration that this title its Bend Studio's first
attempt at an open world game, and they did an excellent job. When they will work on the next gen console with improved hardware at their disposal and with the experience of this one, the second part will be game of the year for sure.
I wouldn't assume that, people tend to try to insert real world shit into stuff that gets successful, but I'm hopeful they keep it up

Days Gone was a slow burner but boy does it pick up as you progress your Journey. Brings back memories during the peak of the Pandemic.

Yea this game was so good I couldnt beleive the reviews It got back when It released I'm pretty sure that places like IGN and Gamespot should actually hire some open minded people, people that will actually sit and play the game rather than give it ten mins and rate it, this In my opinion was a masterpiece of a game from Story, Graphics, Gameplay and the Characters where amazing I even at times found myself commenting on the facial expressions, showing loss and happyness where done to a T gg Bend Studios I would love to play a Days Gone to despite what Sony says.

After hearing the entire OST and Score, I have to admit, that I loathe more and more the reviewers and so-called gamers that think this game sucks. This game has it all in a quality level that has surpassed my expectations.
Even the Grunge side missions songs are great. And this score is fucking epic!
I don’t particularly like Zombie Horde games but this one I had my eye on and it hit the sweet spot. Right mix between zombies - story- humans

Eastern and Western Washington is similar to Eastern and Western Oregon. East has hotter summers, snow, and less rain. West is a lot rainier, wetter, little snow.
Do you remember the few dialogue instances where Sacramento was mentioned? That's where I'm from. lol Never thought my area would be mentioned in a game.

btw there is 1 track I really miss in this soundtrack. That is the song that plays when Deacon and Boozer drive south to Iron Mike's camp. Really epic.

I was very interested in this game and I like it. The game environment is very interesting and beautiful. The story fascinated me a lot and I am very much looking forward to continuing this one of the best games of all time for me.
I'm not really into generic zombie games. This is not a generic zombie game. And the music is masterful.
Best Record is going on-Survival 2,No Upgrades,No Skills except Stamina,No Checkpoints Restart for each Mission and with No Damage for this Amazing Game.

Excellent game overall, I got the collector's edition and special edition because even the packaging of this game resonated with me. I strongly believe we'll get a sequel one day and I want the original devs/writers and actors to be involved.

Excellent game that went quite a bit under the radar! I found the beginning a bit lengthy, a bit too much walking around with fuel cans and the motorbike controls on PS4... but then i was totally hookes, the hordes were absolutely delivering what was promised in the trailers (which rarely happens imo)
