Cleaned-up Audio of The Wisconsin Interview between Chris Watts with CBI Tammy Lee, FBI Graham Coder, Fredrick PD Lead investigator Dave Baumhover. February, 18. 2019.
📍 We needed a cleaned-up Audio of this interview here on our channel- Many times we do return to this interview for certain parts/sections- The original version that we were referring to from Denver7 is very hard to hear due to extreme background noises... So, instead of cleaning up only the sections/parts we need for videos and/or verifications... We decided to take the time to clean the entire audio up and bring it to the channel for us all to refer back to when needed.

So how is our good friend and brother Chris Watts currently doing right now?
Which prison facility is he currently housed in?
Could somebody please pay him a visit, give him our best regards, and bring him like a pizza and a Coke or somethin'? 🍕🥤

After all, Chris actually seems pretty likeable. I speculate that he was experiencing rather atypical and therefore unknown psychological phenomena associated with an autism spectrum personality. More on the “naive” side than just maliciously narcissistic. And this hypothesis is consistent with Shannan's family's feelings towards him. I think these findings make this surreal story even sadder and more tragic.

I used to work with young offenders and the ones who commit the most heinous crimes are usually on the spectrum, I think it explains the black and white thinking for him, for example getting rid of his family rather than getting a divorce, obviously doesn’t excuse his actions in any way but I do find him a fascinating case, I just find him incredibly naive to do such a think and think he can get away with it!

I believe he's one of those people born without human emotions, he's had to watch others to see how to respond to situations, I think Chris had never been under pressure except when his mother was punishing him over leaving her for another woman, she punished him became he wasn't going to get Sha'nan to apologize for his mom putting tree nuts and razer blades around the girls.
I believe the pressure Nicole Kissinger put him under was something he'd never had to deal with and he felt like he would finally have her completely if his family was dead, I think she brought up other men just to get at him.

This is so heart breaking… I’ve read over a lot of the public access records and reports on this case including autopsy reports, evidence photos and reports, and have watched just about every police investigation tape possible on this case and I cannot tell you how many times I have cried for this woman and her babies. As a born and raised Coloradan myself, this case hits too close to home, literally. I can’t even begin to fathom how this series of unfortunate events came to be. As a woman, this is such a degrading and devastating tragedy for this family and for all of the women who have ever been or will ever be in her shoes. My heart aches for these lives that were so violently stripped from this world much before their time. I’m not one to pray but for those who were greatly impacted by one despicable person’s actions, I wish and hope you all mass healing.

At 52:00 Chris says he woke Shannan up to talk. Does anyone else feel like a talk did not happen, he got on her and just strangled her? No fighting back, he said she didn’t say anything during the process, leaves me to believe he didn’t have the balls to confront her but had the ability to strangler her!! Mind blowing to me.

This is absolutely fascinating. I studied psychology and I'm working towards becoming a licensed clinical social worker. I know a lot of people would classify Chris Watts as having antisocial personality disorder but to be honest to me it does not sound like he does AT ALL. I've heard that possibly he's an insecure narcissist. He definitely has insecurities, and he does not have the hallmarks of psychopathy or sociopathy, charming, charismatic, lack of empathy. He has no history of having any type of behavioral issues and is truly an enigma. I would love to get my hands on his psyche assessment. He is absolutely not a psychopath which makes his behavior even more confusing. Chris Watts truly did break the mold. If only he had confided in somebody about his thoughts and ideations, and they could have reasoned with him that what he was planning to do was madness and so not worth doing for Nicole kessinger. I firmly believe that he thought that killing his family was the only way to fully be with her, and I do think that Nicole kessinger has a personality disorder and was a lot more involved in the murders. Because Chris confessed, they closed the case and did not pursue nicole. Had they pursued her, I believe they would have uncovered that she was complicit and personally I believe that she encouraged him. It sounds to me that Chris Watts is insecure and easily swayed for manipulated into doing something for a woman that he's crazy about.

Tbh Ive said this before but i genuinely wonder if the wife had an idea that something was wrong with this guy & just never said anything publicly or to her friends/family because it was not too overrated. In FB videos this guy always looks checked out and disassociated like a robot & its clear he just mimic’s other people’s emotions/actions because he never had any. Im sure thats why she was in charge because obviously he never knew much and a coward. He never was a MAN just a coward. I mean the kids didn’t even want to be around him like that in the last few weeks and that speaks volumes.
He was love bombing the hell out the wife when they first met because she even said she didn’t want him at first. Its just crazy how he pursued her 24/7 just to murder her like i don’t understand? He got what he wanted out of her until he found something new.

There's no way she helped. I'm not saying she didn't know he was going to do it, but she absolutely couldn't have been involved in carrying out the crime. If Chris would've had an accomplice he would certainly have ditched Shannan's car. That would've made it look like she took the kids and bailed. That would've been far more believable than the "someone must have snatched them" angle he was forced to work with.

It's hard to listen to this without wanting to throw up. Even when he's describing the 45-minute ride out there, he's talking about himself - he was thinking about himself. He's ended his wife's life and is on his way to end the lives of his two children, and all he's thinking is, "My life's completely changed." And then he goes into a pity party where he's portraying himself as a victim: All I ever wanted was to be a dad. This is MY flesh and blood. He's talking about them like they're furniture, not even human beings. It's really shocking there are still people who believe this was a "rage" murder. He had 45-minutes to look at them and turn around but felt no love for them at all. And then to phrase it as "Could I not have saved their lives." As if turning around and stopping at killing his wife would have been him saving the children's lives. He's the most disgusting murderer I've ever heard speak. He cares for no one but himself all these years later. Even when he reflects on the girls, he doesn't regret taking their lives away. He talks in phrases like "They loved me," not "I loved them." How anyone could speak to him after listening to an interview like this I have no idea. His family must be as sick as he is.

The problem is what I said in my other comment. He was delusional and actually believed this would work. One thing I caught is when they asked the the first question about “what happened that night”? Chris then says,.. well, it wasn’t that night, it was early morning. Why would Chris have to clarify that question? That’s why I will always believe that he killed the girls first before Shannan even go home. Also the fact that NK stated to the detectives that during one of their phone calls that night, he was laying on one of the girls beds with no sheet on it and she asked why? Chris told NK it was because he had to wash their sheets because it “smelled”!! The full truth of what happened will never be known. But, we do know that he murdered his family and we know where and how he disposed of them all. Sickening this case was,.. and totally insane.

It’s so incredibly annoying listening to Tammy and Coder continue to lead, interrupt, and suggest things. My God, shut up. Let him speak. Baumhover was actually listening for the majority, and Tammy and Rourke kept filling in for Chris… seriously? There were so many questions they should have asked, and yet again, an opportunity was squandered. One question I would have asked was “When and where was the first time you slept with the slag?” “Where’d you go after?” “Why do you think NK was searching Shanann’s name in 2017?” “Why did NK’s phone ping the 13th?” “Are there things you’ve been told not talk about?” “What were you and NK talking about for 111 minutes the morning of the murders?” “What’d you do the morning NA showed up? What’d you do inside while everyone was waiting?” “Was that Shanann’s ring you took out of the car?” “How’d you do all of this the morning of?” “Was the grave previously dug?” “Why your work site?” “WHY DID YOU KILL YOUR KIDS?” Etc, etc, etc… 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Exactly. He probably would have come clean if they just let him keep talking. He did all this he did it. He killed his family. He says he killed those babies at the site? Why? Why kill them if because she was supposedly going to take them away? That’s stupid. His mother was a controlling woman and drove her husband to drugs Ronnie did drugs when Chris left because he left him there with her. NK was the driving force behind all this. She lied and lied and lied some more. Destroyed evidence and not ONE charge against her. Anyone else would have had charges why didn’t she. I thought it was crime to lie to FBI and CBI. Especially in a murder case. She knew he was married, she knew she was pregnant. All this news paper business was BS who reads newspapers? They look the internet and Facebook instagram etc. why did they never ask about Snap chat and Skype. She admitted they used it. Where are those records.

NK was terrified of Shannan’s ability to gain respect, admiration, love naturally-not through manipulation. NK only k ew how to get a man or whatever she wanted by manipulation, and it has worked because the girl has walked away from one of the worst crime of the century and even if Chris were to tell the truth, I would never believe that snake but one day the truth will come out.
