- On our way down to the lake this year, David & I stopped to meet Felicity & Eric for an adventure session! This turned into a surprise proposal session & in today's video I show how I use prompts to capture genuine emotion and how I captured this surprise proposal! I've been a full time photographer since October of 2018. I'm based out of Cincinnati, Ohio but YES I DO TRAVEL!! I was using my Nikon D750 + 35mm 1.8 lens throughout this session. I use Dirty Boots & Messy Hair presets but tweak them a TON. We like David being involved. He has come a long way.
He was in charge of our weekend at the lake vlog and that will be up on Saturday! It’s not perfect but it did make me laugh when I went back through and edited it! 😂
That view is amazing😭😍 Also the fact that the area wasn’t busy with people! Areas like this are always busy whenever I go.
Hahaha we started hiking just as the sun was coming up so that hardly anyone would be there! It worked out great!

This was an awesome video, fun to watch & David did a great job I think.
I miss my hubby doing photography. I used to go as his assistant & help out with posing the models, couples etc. & whatever else was needed. I really enjoyed it. I wish that he was still doing it.

what settings on your camera did you use to get them crispy while there was movement?? I have my first one on sunday and i need them to be perfect, i am worried they will be blurry

What is your shutter at for movement typically?
It honestly just depends on lighting and stuff but I try to never go below 1/250 no matter what I’m shooting (movement or not). Hope that helps 🙂
