I wasn't even alive when Zoff was playing, but maybe you should just compare the awards both had a shot in, for the sake of fairnes...
orestisDisturbed Buffon still matches and surpasses Zoff in the awards that do exist. Buffon also remained loyal to Juve when they were relegated after the 2006 scandal.
It's hard to choose just 11 player from such a great club like Juventus .

I had the privilege of watching Del Piero down here in Sydney and even as old as he was, he was capable of creating amazing things and I'll be forever grateful that i was able to witness such a legend.
Cheers for sharing that Max Asher, never seen him play in person but his highlights reel is mighty impressive. Favourite goal of his was his finish against Germany in the 2006 World Cup semi-final. #classicPiero

Juventus are the biggest under-achievers in the history of European football! They've only won 2 European Cups! Considering their dominance in Serie A over Milan and Inter, they have somehow been champions of Europe on less occasions. Other teams who have under-achieved in my opinion are Benfica and Manchester United. Both have under-achieved in Europe.

Ok... Good list but you've got to agree that Buffon, Nedved, Baggio, Davids and Trezeguet are worth to be on that list... Maybe this is a historical 11 but maybe not the top one :)
It was an overall one, understand your point though, it was really difficult fitting all the top class players into the team they've had over the years! There was always going to be a few controversial omissions...
Maybe adding subs would make it easier! :)
To all who says that pirlo is a juve legend, it's not true. Pirlo is an AC Milan legend, he played more seasons and won champions for milan. In Milan he was at his prime.

Alessio f Zidane is better than Platini to me. ZZ was always good and phenomenal in the most important games. And yes he was beautiful to watch. Even if Platini is obviously respected and admired to some in France, Zinedine Zidane is considered THE best!

I think you guys should do a Greatest Bayern Munich XI, Greatest German XI, and Greatest Brazilian XI. These three teams are probably the best teams around that haven't gotten a greatest all time XI yet.
I pretty much agree. But not to see Nedved in it is hard. He is still in Turin as a Sporting director or something like that.
And Zoff instead of Buffon? I'd include Buffon in this XI rather then Zoff but he is also a good choice. ;)

I would have selected Davids or Tacchinardi rather than Tardelli, granted he did win a World Cup. Davids was pure grinta with a great ability to beat players and Tacchinardi was a defensive pillar for the midfield.

Scirea and Thuram 2 of the very greatest in their position, yes, as are Platini and Zidane, though ideally they would each be the main midfield general-maestro. Maybe Sivori should be picked instead of Del Piero: he had a great partnership with John Charles (good to see him included), and maybe Buffon above Zoff. But these are close calls. Also, how about Cannavaro in central defence, or is he left out for a better balance with Scirea?
