For those who don’t know, requiem is a word meaning “a musical composition for the dead” meaning, at least in my interpretation that Eda already considered herself dead, and was willing to kill herself if it meant she didn’t have to say goodbye to Luz and King I wish they’d pull more stuff life this in the show, I love it. Not the whole suicide stuff but just more thing’s that pull at your heart strings if you think about them.
I mean it would make sense. She had to run away from everyone due to the curse and pushed everyone away with a feeling that shes only bad for the people she cares about.

This song is piercing, especially when I saw Eda and Raine was willing to sacrifice themselves almost without hesitation. It’s like a needle plunging into my heart. Eda didn’t want to say goodbye to luz and King. My profile is not me- I felt heartbroken and heartsick at the same time but also it filled my heart with love and care.

I love the fact you can hear when Eda’s curse begins to take hold, and it almost sounds like a pained cry for help before being washed over by the rest of the sound. Its an amazing way to show Eda’s mental state with the sound design.

I can remember when I started watching this, I thought it was just your ordinary “teenage girl goes into magic world and learns magic, yay” I knew about lumity from seeing the scene where they ask each other out, and decided to start it, and when I got to that point, I stopped watching. Idk why, maybe I found what I needed. But recently I started watching the whole show again, and finished it last night. There is so much freaking plot to this. It’s a masterpiece of lgbtq, plot, and THIS SONG. This is probably one of my favorite season 2 episodes, along with the canon lumity moments. Possible spoilers, in case you haven’t finished!!! Also it kinda confuses me how lgbtq is also in this world. Not saying that they could have their own feelings, cause that’s definitely possible, but if they had the same labels and colors as the human world, how did they get there? Lgbtq wasn’t as normally accepted in the human realm when Phillip came than how normal it is now. I’m guessing that the feelings part of it could definitely happen, in the case of Raine being nonbinary and Amity being lesbian, but I don’t think they would have the same labels as human realm. Of course, it never actually said in the show that they were lgbtq, but it’s canon, so who knows. More things, haha I’m pretty sure that the demon realm moves faster in time. Phillip came in the 1600s, while Luz came in the present. Belos had only been emperor for 50 years, and I don’t think he would survive 400 years, unless he had some kind of immortality thing. Oh sh*t, the video stopped. Well, I’ll stop for now. Byeeeeee!

I can remember when I started watching this, I thought it was just your ordinary “teenage girl goes into magic world and learns magic, yay”
I knew about lumity from seeing the scene where they ask each other out, and decided to start it, and when I got to that point, I stopped watching. Idk why, maybe I found what I needed.
But recently I started watching the whole show again, and finished it last night. There is so much freaking plot to this. It’s a masterpiece of lgbtq, plot, and THIS SONG. This is probably one of my favorite season 2 episodes, along with the canon lumity moments.
Possible spoilers, in case you haven’t finished!!!
Also it kinda confuses me how lgbtq is also in this world. Not saying that they could have their own feelings, cause that’s definitely possible, but if they had the same labels and colors as the human world, how did they get there? Lgbtq wasn’t as normally accepted in the human realm when Phillip came than how normal it is now. I’m guessing that the feelings part of it could definitely happen, in the case of Raine being nonbinary and Amity being lesbian, but I don’t think they would have the same labels as human realm. Of course, it never actually said in the show that they were lgbtq, but it’s canon, so who knows.

I’m pretty sure that the demon realm moves faster in time. Phillip came in the 1600s, while Luz came in the present. Belos had only been emperor for 50 years, and I don’t think he would survive 400 years, unless he had some kind of immortality thing.
