Mile 14 - Original Song by Evan Ellis

Evan wrote a song influenced by a talk (link below) given by Elder Holland. His song is called Mile 14. It gives me some Zach Bryan vibes. I am completely blown away by Evan! It’s a beautiful song with a very deep meaning behind it. The fact that Evan has the time to do all that is asked of him and then create music like this is astounding. I’m so proud of him and his dedication to spreading the gospel through his mission and musical talents.
The song is about a man who nearly killed a woman while drunk driving. The woman had already lost her son when he was accidentally run over by his father in their driveway. Evan doesn’t know the back story of the man who caused the accident that nearly killed the woman. So he took some creative liberties and created a story for him.
