Quite grateful for your further contribution, I own and have read the bulk of all of Jung's complete works over the three years Jungian Depth Psychology has become one central to my studies, research experimentations and results for that I am working forward toward within a number of works, I am greatly able to enjoy Jung from a differing perspective thanks to these audiobooks. And so too can share such all the easier, as I am now at a point where I can create my own team to go all the more forward. Much thanks as always.
When I was a child, about 5 or 6 years old, I often had the experience of a sudden flash of light, like lightning from a clear blue sky without thunder, in which an immeasurable blessing was combined with a sense of certainty that all was safe and good forever. I stood paralyzed in ecstasy for a few moments and then hoped in vain that it would come again and stay forever.
Sounds like "little you" was in dire need of a CT scan. I always wonder how many people out there with genuine neurological issues think that they're special with enlightening experiences? the ego is a powerful thing.
@@TheDrag0nSlayer Here are a few things for you to consider. Let's start with your last statement that ego is a powerful thing. Ego stands for the false self and so it cannot have any power. No false thing can have any power by itself, but it can seem to have power given to it by identification. Secondly, keep in mind that Carl Jung argued that individuals project their own unconscious thoughts, feelings, and desires onto others, interpreting other people's behaviors and characteristics through the lens of their own psyche. In his essay "Self-Reliance," Emerson wrote, "People do not seem to realize that their opinion of the world is also a confession of their character." These concepts highlight the importance of self-awareness and understanding in how we relate to and perceive others. By examining our own biases, beliefs, and inner states, we can gain a clearer, more objective understanding of the people around us. I hope this helps you to stop praising the ego, which, in fact, is your greatest enemy.
Thank you, its such important the thing you do here. I have read them all, but its very good to have them in audio, for when a sit down with a book is not possible. Jungs work should be read or heard over and over again, while the psychological work is done. Thanks again.
At times, Jung could be so full of himself. As if his thoughts were the only valid things in the universe. . Oh well. If that's what it took to get the rest of his insight... I'm in.
Thanks!
Thank you!
This book saved my life thank you
