- Reviewing the 1998 Power Of the Force Expanded Universe release of the 3.75” Grand Admiral Thrawn action figure from Hasbro/Kenner. This figure is based on his appearance in Heir To The Empire. The card backs for this expanded universe line had a 3D Pop-Out Play-scene you could use to display your figures.

Definitely one of the best figures from the POTF2 EU line, and my favorite Thrawn figure overall. Awesome review!
Toy shelf thank you so much for doing more power of the force line I really want you to just do a binge of power of the force I really enjoy this line this is what number up to I almost have the whole set I’m down to my last 14 figures
I love the expanded universe line, great video
This figure is awesome!
Thanks, I didn't know the card did that. Great video review.
Nice video love that figure
Cool figure!. Great diorama card Back!. Never seen one of these… I like it!. Good job Erin!.
Thanks! Off the top of my head I think there were 9 of these figures released in this expanded universe line.
What’s interesting is that the dark trooper is in the line but they do not show him in the package of other figures they only show the space trooper they never show the dark trooper
That background is something I had never sen before. It's awesome!
Excellent review of an excellent figure + diorama. Now that you have peeked down the rabbit hole it would be great to see the other POTF2 expanded universe figures get reviews. The series you did on the retro Mandalorian figures made for a great series of videos, the expanded universe figures could surpass that. Keep up the great work, its always a mood booster to find a new TSR review pop up.
Great review! The Mara Jade, Dark Empire Luke and Admiral Thrawn figures were terrific back in the day and Thrawn has that wonderful display piece (the other displays weren't nearly as good or useful.)
The artwork in those Heir to the Empire comics was just soo stylizied that the images used here on the cardback just look awful. The figure looks so much better than those goofy grabs.
Love seeing these blasts from the past! Thanks!
In case it's of any interest to anyone; the blaster Thrawn comes with has a slightly thinner handle than the otherwise identical one that came with other POTF figures, so that's something you might want to look out for in case you've gone insane and are trying to collect these figures loose.
Had to pay 25 bucks for mine ..but had to have it
That’s not even expensive, this figure goes for over $40 and most figures today go for $30
Depends when they bought it. When it was released spending $25 for an action figure was still quite a bit.
