I feel like Barbie is the kind of girl who constantly like change. I mean she's had who knows how many jobs. But I think she's definitely ultra feminine, fashion-forward and totally a bit of a snob. Evil? Probably not. Ditsy? Most likely. She's the kind of person who doesn't know what a poor person is like and sees them like a foreigner from another country. But she's also very confident and self-assured and believes in her abilities, and always gets the job done. I believe she's very nice, but yes very ditsy. She's the type of girl to donate to charity but has no idea what charity she's donating to, she just thinks, "This is a good thing!"
That's just how I see her.
Hehhe totally! :D She is the kind of person who thinks she is doing so much good in the world and making a true change, but in reality the kind of charity work she does is organize her little sisters private school cheerleader team bake sale, or throw an annual pink/glitter theme party for all of her neighbors where she gives out glittery and pink party favors for the guests lol. Oh, and if she would donate to a charity, it would be like " donate now, and we will give pink and gold diamond high heel shoes for underprivileged teenage girls" Not that doing relatively small things like that isn't good, but she makes herself seem like much more of a charity/human rights/peace and love activist than she actually is.

I'm not sure where you got the whole "she has no idea about poor people" thing? What is your reasoning behind that? Because she loves nice things doesn't mean Barbie is any stranger to hardship. I mean, who knows, maybe she had to work all those odd jobs to take care of all her younger sisters, because we don't know where her mom and dad are?? Maybe Barbie actually grew up poor and was such a motivated individual that she didn't let being poor in her childhood stop her from achieving her dreams. But that's just how I see her...
***** Because she's (most likely) part of the upper class, the rich folks, they're usually ignorant to issues. And since she's such a ditz, she'd be all, "Omg, I heard donating to charity like, helps African kids and stuff! So cute! Poor things!"
When I was little I had ALL the Barbie movies: Princess and the pauper, magic of Pegasus, fairytopia, island princess, the classics from early 2000's. I always saw her as a ditzy girly girl that was secretly smarter underneath than how she acts around others. It was her personalities in the movies, cause in 90% of the movies it started with her telling a story (the actual movie) to her younger sisters.

Why does everyone think barbie is evil!?! Barbie was always my idol. She works hard to succeed in everything she does, loves her family, and is faithfully committed to her dream man. She was my way of imagining my future careers...whether I wanted to be a teacher, astronaut, or a stay at home mom. I see her as someone who was kind and loving, always putting others before herself.
Oh...and she does it all while looking fabulous.

Exactly! Kind of mixed in with the Barbie we saw in Toy Story 3 (she wasn't too smart in that movie and I always thought she was smart). She's so loyal, she would fiercely protect the ones she loves.

I see Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse as the "real Barbie" (not who she plays in the movies) so I see that portrayal of her as her personality :3
P.S: The modern Barbie films are crap; they need more like Princess and the Pauper etc.

You should totally make like a summer/holiday home for Barbie and Ken, which is stereotypically blue for Ken, implying that he bought it before he met Barbie, with influences of pink and purple where Barbie might've put some sneaky items in. I think that would be pretty cool :)
woowww watch this again in 2019 and the sims 4 is really change a lot aren't they? while watching this i can see clearly that "residential" thingy is in the center but now it's on the right, there are no copy tools and much more... LOL what a time... can't believe it's already 4 years ago since i watch this SP but i still love it!! love you Deli!!

I felt like when I played with Barbie, she was the queen bee. Super snooty and into herself, her "friends" were merely pawns in her game if that makes any sense. I wouldn't say evil, she has a kind heart (most of the time), but she is the leader through and through and won't take crap from anyone. She's sassy. Lol, I loved the build! Totally going to have to download! :D

With every video you post, I get more and more amazed at your talent and creativity, but this house tops it all! I LOVE the build, the garden is out of this world, and don't get me started on the furnishings. I would definitely live in this house, even with all the pink because it is gorgeous! You've outdone yourself Deli, great job :)

I just want to say this was the first video I saw of Deli's! As soon as I saw this video I went to her account and became obsessed with Deligracy. Deli has always made fantastic content and she has made such a nice family. I'm happy to say I have been a simli for almost 2 years! Love you Deli! 😘💚💚💚
Awesome house deli! For the objects that disappear, I know how to prevent that. It is because of the scaling up and down cheat. When you put a scaled up object too close of another object, then one of them will disappear as soon as you will modify a wall (like expanding a room or deleting a section of wall, for example) anywhere on the lot or as soon as you will save or upload the lot. I know that because my objects were always disappearing and it was frustrating me so much, so I tried many things and that's my conclusion.
Now how to avoid the objects from disappearing is quite simple. When you put a scaled up object (for instance, a plant) near another object (for instance, a bar), and you think it might disappear later, just take the demolition tool and hover it on a wall, you don't need to click. The wall will appear as yellow, as well as all the objects that will be deleted if you click (like the paintings or anythings that this part of wall holds). Just check if the object that you thought it would disappear (the plant or the bar, or anything around that) is yellow too. If it's not, everything is okay, and all these objects will stay there. But if it is, that means that if you modify the shape of your house or just save this lot, the object will be deleted. So just move a little bit more far the scaled up object from the other object, and check if it still gets yellow when you hover a wall with the demolition tool.

I've made that same conclusion too. It frustrates me most when only re-painting a room! Like I don't even "touch" the wall so why?! Really annoying. But thanks for that info, will try it next time to avoid objects disappearing. :) And don't worry, your English was very good. I understood everything. :) (my English isn't perfect either)

you should've done a walk in closet! you should make an extra floor with a GIANT walk in closet because I mean it's Barbie :P and you should give bRbie WAY more outfits

I never had a Barbie Dream House, but I had a doll house that my grandfather made for my mom when she was little with real carpet and wallpaper. It was amazing
I'm asking for the new Barbie dreamhouse for Christmas! :) For now I have a lame one that I made. It looks cool, but it only has 5 rooms (if you don't include the school room). I don't like it that much, but I can't make my own and my parents don't have time. :(
I feel like Barbie is evil too. I feel like she's a truly horrible person but is exceptionally good at hiding her evil intent, so everybody thinks she's just the nice girl next door who likes the colour pink maybe a little bit too much. I feel like she's manipulative and blackmails all her "friends" like maybe even blackmails Ken to stay with her. I also think she has like paintings and statues depiciting horrible ancient legends of murder and such all around her house and that she hunts in the woods every night for fun and skins the animals herself and is head of the local mafia and has like a torture chamber and... okay maybe now I'm going a bit too far but yeah I feel like she's bad.
I thought she should be in like the criminal career, or at least have a hiding room of a buttload of crystals that she stole from the secret agents...

I don't think Barbie is evil I just think she is dumb. Like she gets into lots of jobs and tells everyone she is amazing at them and she thinks she's amazing at them but in reality she is like the most unprofessional person at those jobs.. I also think that she doesn't know what hurts people and what doesn't so she is mean but she doesn't want to be mean. And I also think that since she lives in upper class everything she doesn't even know about lower class citizens since she avoids them.

I also played with Barbie as a child and I have so much love for her :D I've not played the sims for a few years (I was a sims 2 and 3 addict but now I'm a traveller!) and you this video has made me want to get a copy of sims 4 so I can play with Barbie and this house. The only problem was one of my child sims went in the pool and drowned because the water was so deep, so if you could maybe lower the pool level a little higher to be a little more shallower I think that would help :) Thanks Deli !:)

Wow, how amazing! One of the best houses I've ever seen be made. I have a feeling u have made some other really cool houses and have some other great videos about Sims so I thought I would subscribe, congratz u got a new subscriber. Building houses is one of my favorite things to do on Sims. I wonder if u could actually save this house on a file and share the file of this house with some online Sims community (assuming there is one) so other people can put this exact house somewhere in their town on their Sims 4 game because it looks like a really cool house.
