Can you use a nikon Phase Contrast Condenser on this? or does it require proprietary parts? I'm very new to Microscopy....

Hi, we are sorry but microscope condenser are not standard, so for a Motic Microscope, you need to purchase Motic condenser.

Do the compounding optics on the 310E show better details for microbiology, compared to the 310?

Will the Panthera U be better than this microscope because it is a newer model?

Hi Darryl, thank you for your comment. The model Panthera U has been replaced by the new Panthera C2; same optics but with the Köhler illumination system integrated. Furthermore, Panthera C2 offers an updated optical quality, and also FN of eyepieces is 22 mm against 20 mm of BA310.
