But don’t pretend that any factory workers are doing anything creative. They’re automatons- doing one tiny step of a process assigned to them until they can be replaced by machines or cheaper labor. They aren’t expressing themselves. They aren’t intellectually challenged or spiritually fulfilled. It’s repetitive piecework where any deviation or variation is rejected.
