That story about the paramedic giving Nitro to the patient. I'm an EMT and 0 for 5 on CPR calls. The first CPR run haunted me for months afterwards. I did everything you're taught to do in class but she just didn't respond to any treatment. I couldn't help but blame myself. This line of work is not for the faint of heart.
I think they meant roosters. Roosters are not always welcomed and have legal consequences if used for more than pets. They use them for roosters fights, which are illegal in the US. It’s a big thing in Mexico.
Story 36 hurts me more than anything else for some reason. Eight years old??? Christ on a stick. The whole family is ruined, a woman lost her husband and kiddo, one parent lost their bro, the other lost their in law, disowning left and right, irreversible scars…
Story 7, yeah, its a bit on you. You knew he was incapacitated and making poor choices and you just dump him at a hotel without notifying law enforcement or at least the staff at the business. Would you have just booted out an adult with clear cognitive issues such as Downs syndrome without getting them further help too?
