I know this is weird but I’m hoping they release a Fenty beauty/skin fragrance outside of Luxury Fenty line because I love the smell of their products. Also, a part of me feels like this fragrance was a way of Rih saying “I NEVER confirmed with you all that Love Don’t Be Shy was my signature”.
Maybe it defies the whole 'it smells like" vibe because she pushed the envelope instead of copying or duping. I appreciate the packaging, that container colour is stunning for me.
I love it. It is very much a unisex fragrance. I’m getting spice, musk, slightly sweet from the berry and flower, powdery, oud! It gives me a MFK Oud Satin Mood/GFG vibe. And disclaimer: I’m not a celebrity stan 😭 soon as I say I love it, the whips come out
I don't have this scent and I was turned off by the comments by the people I know who do have it. However, your description makes me want it. I want to smell something new and unique. A lot of fragrances copy the same scents and this seems like a new take. I wonder what it will layer with?
Yeah, I actually mentioned to Fenty that I didn’t really care for it and they let me keep it since I bought it before the release. I agree with Maiya, of Black Girls Smell Good, in that this missed a lot of depth for me. I wanted amber, wood, or a vanilla in the base so I layer this on top of my Nest Madagascar Vanilla oil. I hope they are paying attention to reviews about it, because although it is very uniques, I can say that I would not have bought it, had I smelled it in the store first.
This was my first blind buy on a fragrance and I can say that I am very discouraged from doing it again. I'm glad that I supported our good sis Riri, but this was a very lack luster olfactory experience for me too. Great job Karina!
I was so disappointed because everyone says she smells so good and that her fragrance leaves a trail. That people can tell Rihanna was somewhere just by her scent lingering. Her original perfumes smell way better, either she has drastically changed her scent profile and no longer smells like heaven like everyone said or she just doesn’t want other people to smell as good as her 🤣

Your review was spot on, I get the same notes as well. However, it smells so good on me and I enjoy how intimate it is. It lasts pretty good on me as well and my skin seems to eat up fragrances. I did layer it with YSL Libre and it was a great combo imo.
Projection and longevity could definitely be better. I said in my own video that it wouldn't be for everyone. But, I do like the fragrance overall and you described it perfectly!

I definitely agree with you with the opening having some kind of incense smell to it. At first it took me back a little bit when I first sprayed it but it actually grew on me and I love it but it’s definitely a niche scent not for everyone at all

I admit I personally really like the fragrance - I only received a sample but it surprisingly grew on me. It's a more nighttime unisex yet sultry scent to me, and I do pick up a bit of the incense vibes. I do wish the packaging was a bit better, the plastic top just feels a bit cheap to me.
Was waiting for this review!! The rose oud is my fav combo but the lasting power is also so important so I might pass. You should definitely try Bleu Turqoise by Armani Privé it lasts almost 24h on my skin like no other 😍

Oh my lord that was the worst blind buy of all time. I was SO disappointed. So anytime now I hear POAL it’s a straight NO for me.
Don’t like the packaging, color, bottle and the price seems a bit much, I just don’t see any situation appointment or place I would wear that…still a pass for me since it dropped..love Rihanna…would purchase Rebel fleur? instead

The bottle looks like a medicine bottle to me. Maybe it's the color but I think of iodine. I am with you. I will buy a dupe but I will buy the real thing for the sexy beautiful bottle. Vain I know!! Plastic? Nahhh man. No need to even smell it lol. Thx for keeping it real

I think she made this fragrance and made it clear that she doesn’t wear love don’t be shy 😂 Also, I feel like the bottle isn’t as impressive for a couple reasons. 1 I think that because she chose 1 size only 75ml she wanted to be able to throw it in a purse and keep it moving (travel friendly) I wouldn’t want to do that with a nicer bottle, but this one I can. 2, I would like to think that had LVMH not pulled the plug on FENTY the packaging could have been more expensive, multiple sizes, etc. She had to work within those confinements and had to segue it into FB even though it is unrelated. I find the fragrance very unique and will keep wearing. I think it would be great to layer with others in the sense that another fragrance would bring out different sides to it. This may be because it is advertised as completely comprised of middle notes. I’m getting musk & patcholi mixed with rose and blueberry. Something about makes me sneeze at first spray so I try not to smell as I spray. I really love this. I get compliments and I think it’s unique.

Hi I had a sample I tried it out for days it was not long lasting at all not even on clothes, I chose to pass it up, great smell but it’s a no go

Maybe it’s the rose, but it dries down like the original Delina on me, just more woody.
I was definitely disappointed but I think the scent is ok. I have found that my favorite time to wear it is right out the shower.
