My friend Jim introduced me to Alphaville when I was 14. I felt like my breath was sucked out of me when I heard this album. Jim died in car crash when he was 18, but ever time I listen to this album I remember him smiling. The ringing of his laughter - it sounds like good melody... RIP Jim, gone but not forgotten.

I just took a shower when I heard this song loudly when I came out of the bathroom my mother came up to me and you could see that she had just cried I asked her what was going on and she said that this song reminded her of her childhood, she was only 16 when her 19 year old brother died in a car accident she told me when she found out about this she went to the party room of her brother and listened to this song at maximum volume and had to cry so that she could hardly breathe... that just made me cry

My friend Jim introduced me to Alphaville when I was 14. I felt like my breath was sucked out of me when I heard this album. Jim died in car crash when he was 18, but ever time I listen to this album I remember him smiling. The ringing of his laughter - it sounds like good melody... RIP Jim, gone but not forgotten.
