Studying abroad is the best thing I’ve done

Zaynab was inspired to study abroad by the opportunities offered in the UK and she wanted a different experience to her brothers back in Kuwait. She said it was a difficult decision to choose to study abroad but she said it’s the best thing she’s ever done in her life.
Without the Undergraduate Foundation Programme, Zaynab believes that she would have struggled with the transition into studying at the University.
She tells us that, because of the nature of her course and all the things she has achieved, she believes she is gaining a degree that she deserves.
Zaynab studied the Undergraduate Foundation Programme in Engineering and Sciences and is preparing to progress to BEng Civil Engineering at the University of Strathclyde.
