I wonder if maybe it bit him after the fade to white in akito’s retelling here? it ended with baby akito screaming, so I feel like it could’ve happened directly after that. maybe he left it out of the retelling on purpose since he doesn’t know minori, honami, or rui as well as he knows toya?
although, the dog in the card art looks very friendly and not mad, so who knows lol… maybe akito dramatized it a little when he told the story to toya hahah
