- I got my Marvel Legends Marvel Knights case in today and thought to hell with it, I'm doubling up because I couldn't wait to open both Punisher and Jessica Jones. I love the Netflix shows and the figures don't disappoint. Well, in a couple of spots they do. Or the same spot on both figures...

I'm just happy (and still surprised) Hasbro actually made these Netflix figures! Let's hope this wave sells well enough to get us a Luke Cage and Iron Fist! (Fingers still crossed for a Netflx Kingpin too!)

Jessica Jones Season 1 came out November 2015 and Daredevil Season 2 came out March 2016, so we'd definitely seen both of these characters in their shows by the time these figures were revealed.
With Jessica jones if you twist her arms at the elbow it gives a more 90 degree angle. I did it with mine and she bends further at the elbow. Try it and let me know if that helped. Great review
I always try that with those type elbows, most of the time they do indeed come backwards in the package. Thanks!

I absolutely love the Netflix Marvel shows, so I'm going to be making these my first Marvel Legends!
Also Robo, we did see these figures for the first time almost a year ago at SDCC but they had already appeared in the shows. Daredevil Season 2 came out in March 2016 and Jessica Jones came out in November 2015.

As much as I love the Bullseye & Blade... I really wish we'd gotten Luke Cage and Danny Rand. And maybe D'Onofrio's Kingpin as the BAF..
The elbow problem can be resolved by rotating them 180° at the upper joint. It'll give you 5-10° more articulation.
Major bummer on those Punisher arms and lack of alternate hands or head for Jessica Jones. Great review as always!
My daredevil and punisher are coming in Thursday, love the faded logo on punisher.
Yeah, it jsut stands out, looks amazing.

I really want that Jessica Jones. Particularly the full body shots, look just like Ritter. I may get Punisher, but definitely Daredevil and Jessica.
I think I am going to put the Hawkeye short sleeve arms on this one and go jacket-less.

i want the jessica jones figure but mainly so i can have civilian figures. it'd make them look much cooler with the leather jacket
Still researching it, so no proof, but I think that maybe the Punisher arms are reused from a Black Series figure, hence the single jointed elbows
This is an amazing figure Jon B is one of my favorite actor s ever since he played Shane on the Walking Dead.He plays the Punisher to a T my opinion, great review.
Funny that on the back of the Punisher figures box where you see him holding his pistol, you can see the black on the handel but the actual figure doesn't have that.... Thx hasbro :/
Great review as always, Robo! I only plan on getting Daredevil and Punisher from this wave. Might pick up Jessica if I see her in stores. Oh, regarding the elbro, maybe you can trim parts of the plastic to give it better range of articulation
Yeah Daredevil and punisher deffinetly seem to be the stand out figures for me from this wave. Whilst I loved the Jessica jones tv show her figure doesn't grab me

Great review brother!!! I bought a case of these figures and I couldn't be happier. This is, at least for my tastes one of the best waves in a very long time. Although I still stand by the fact that I think the Netflix version of Kingpin should of been the B.A.F. I do hope these sell well so we can get other TV figures. I'd love to get some of the cast of SHEILD. I'd also really like a Luke Cage figure although I'm affraid if you display him on the same shelf as Jessica she'll develope loose hips LOL. Anyway keep up the great work brother and thanks...
The likeness on Bernthal is really good. I think the next wave will probably Luke and Danny along with a Kingpin and Ghost Rider from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get Jessica Jones and Elektra my Thinkgeek sold 4 of their 5 cases and I only managed to get DD and Frank.
these look nice but I'm only getting Jessica, Blade and bull's-eye(if I can find him), I might get daredevil but I doubt it.
oh man. I want this entire wave + Thor wave and Thor target exlusive 2 pack. but im still waiting for homecoming figures, specifically moon knight yo hit shelves here in Utah. I have 3 Walmarts within 7 Miles and there's nothing homecoming related.
This wave is really good. Here's to hoping for more Netflix figures like King Pin, Luke Cage, Purple Man, etc...

I don't know, man, Krysten Ritter always came off as a very petite girl to me (which is the kind of girl I dig), so I would have been upset if she were bigger. Don't know how big she actually is though. I just got her and thought they nailed the likeness too. Local GameStop herein north Austin had the whole wave Friday night, plus all the Guardians Mantis BAF wave I still need, but I could only get two figures that night, unfortunately, and was already walking around with my Black Series Lando, so it had to be Jessica. Lovin' the look of the figs lately, but yeah, the limited elbows have been very annoying. I got one recently that is shockingly limited. I think it was the Civil War 3 pack Spidey. Anyway, yeah, I expect Luke Cage and Iron Fist figures next, but I also really hope we see some Agents of SHIELD and maybe Agent Carter as well.
I'm with you, maybe it's the males that come off a little large. A buddy actually got pictures with Ritter last weekend at SDCC and while she's 5'9" abouts she likes the heels and her head seems large, haha. Still, soooo hot....
I actually think the JJ head looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more like Krysten Ritter than the Punisher head looks like Jon Bernthal.
That Punisher figure is just a huge letdown.
No holsters, no sheaths, no minigun or sniper rifle, almost no paint, bad elbows..... aside from the skull logo and head, he's almost just totally lifeless black plastic. Even the guns are as plain as possible.
JJ by comparison is great. She may not have any accessories, which is unfortunate, but the figure itself look fantastic. The paintjob on the jeans, the zippers, and her half-gloved fists really bring that figure to life. Plus the much better head.
It really is too bad she didn't come with her scarf and a whiskey bottle. Those were my two wishes for that figure.
TEC yea I don't like the punisher at all, I hate the head sculpted and the flimsy gun. I'm pissed it doesn't come with more weapons. And I can't stand how the arms a shining and the black is matte/shiny. It doesn't really match to me. I will be picking up JJ today though!

You know, I actually liked the Jessica Jones figure the best of the wave, but dug the Punisher as well. They are getting better with their digital printing tech, cool to see with a 20 buck figure. Have a great time at SDCC, man! I need to get back there next year!

In 2017, figures should be able to get into a proper firing pose. It only requires a bit more hinge at the elbow and wrist. Hasbro is sometimes brilliant, but often just lazy.
MOST Hasbro ML's have double elbows... but the black series figs have single elbows.. Just let that sink in.

Definitely adds to the shelf and with Elektra, Jones and Punisher you can kit bash some 6 inch civilians......finally! :-) Not even a huge fan of the Man-Thing character but he's gonna be an added bonus. not to get side tract but MAN ALL THE MORTAL Kombat figures from storm collectables are sold out! getting one with shipping is like 115. and Smoke? he is 100+ on eBay. Is there any other way to get him besides SDCC?

ROBO!!!! Not sure if anyone told you but I had the same problem with my punisher and his elbow. I rotated the arm around and bam. Fully double jointed elbows!! I went like that for a week thinking they only made one arm double jointed and the other not (dumb I know) and then I fixed it. Maybe you have the same problem.
