When I played this game a spammed boards in a house so much that you couldn't even see the walls, yet the base was so secure that almost the entire server moved in, somehow just by panic spamming I became the leader of almost an entire server.

There's an easy way to survive the Big GEF
You need:
1. Hammer
2. House/base
Instructions:
1. Cover the house/base with planks using the hammer, make it thick so the Big GEF can't break in
2. Make a small hole that you can exit, enter the house/base.
*Fun fact about the Big GEF:*
Big GEF can't break planks it can only break the houses, buildings

Pro tip 2: if you have a surplus weapon like crowbars and bats or guns put it in your base so the risk of losing everything is lowered
Pro tip 3: If you're searching for loot grab a bat, only 1 not more, when your inv is full drop everything at your base so people can get it and fight with you
Pro tip 4: if you found shotgun, shoot once at close range, and melee them, rounds of these guns are rare wasting 2 for 1 GEF is wastefull. Bonus points if you get 2 GEF's in one shot
