I can't imagine the frustration by times, trying to deal with such massive solid blockages like that! I can just see you now, dragging the homeowners out by the ear and pointing the mess out to them, yelling "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!! THIS IS BECAUSE OF YOU USING AND FLUSHING WIPES!" You guys are far too polite to do such, but I'd guess you were at least a little bit tempted by times, lol!

It’s clever phrasing really on the part of the wipe manufacturers. They’re indeed “flushable” in that they can technically be flushed into the pipe. Certainly doesn’t mean they won’t cause issues or that they’re “non-clogging” wipes. There’s a big difference and I have to imagine they used the term “flushable” versus “won’t block drains” for a reason.

    • @22Purplemist

1:53 while you‘re doing that… everybody else would have: 1. jetted everything from the gully side; 2. after they‘ve heared the jet at the blockage used a HOSE (not a bucket!) to flush the blockage OR shuffed out the blockage into a bucket, disposed of it and flushed the rest…

When we say wipes, I assume its not the ones that are flushable? Or is there actually a problem with flushable ones also?
