Hi JK Crew! I have two more brain teaser game/challenge ideas you guys could do!
The Rose Game
In the Rose Game, the objective is to find the pattern in which you are asking a simple question, are you a rose? If the person understands the pattern in which you are asking the questions, then they can either respond with the correct answer or try to ask the question them self. So to start, you say that two people are a rose, then ask if another person is a rose.
For example:
If Tommy is a rose, and Bart is a rose, is Joe a rose?
Now, anybody can respond and the question isn't really directed to a certain person, but rather the group. The responses are yes or no.
The trick of the game is the word, "listen"
When you say the word, "listen" before your question, the answer will be yes. Now if you don't say the word, "listen" the answer is no.
Here is an example of a scenario:
Geo: Ok everyone, just Listen. If I am a rose, and Julia is a rose, is Joe a rose.
Bart: No
Geo: Yes he is! Just Listen. C'mon guys all you need to do is Listen. If you are a rose, and Joe is a rose, is Casey a rose?
Julia: Yes?
Geo: Exactly. If you are a rose, and Bart is a rose, is Tiffany a rose?
Julia: Yes?
Geo: No!
There will be a couple of instances where people will accidentally guess correctly, however they don't truly know the pattern (Like Julia in the above example.) You don't need to necessarily start off with a certain name of someone. You can start off by naming anyone in the group. In the end, this game is really fun to mess with people. They usually start to get really confused and a little irritated, since the key word is "listen." They usually respond with "I AM!" or "THAT'S WHAT I'M DOING." The game really has nothing to do with roses, but people tend to find that out later. Also, you don't have to say the word, "listen" all by itself. Get creative with the way you say listen.
The Moon Game
My second idea is called the moon game. In this game, the objective is to list things you can and can't bring to the moon.
For example,
You can bring _______________________, but you can't bring ________________________.
Now, the trick of the game is to list things that have DOUBLE LETTERS in their name. That is why the game is called Going to the MOON.
Before you start, clarify that you are all going to the MOON. Also if people are really confused and don't get it, you can emphasize the long O-sound in Moon. "Just remember guys, we are going to the MOON."
Examples of items you can bring:
You can bring, a spoon, but not a fork.
You can bring a tree, but not the dirt.
You can bring less, but not more.
(^^^^This one is personally my favorite)
If the person understands the pattern, they should not shout out the pattern, but rather just provide a couple examples of the pattern to confirm that they know how to play.
The things that you list can be anything: names of people, states, fruits, etc. The possibilities are endless.

This game is old! Its not necessarily called the "scissors" game you can use any object. For the people you still can't get it you pretty much have to physically be coping how the other person is sitting or doing.it really has nothing to do with the object.the object is just there to simply throw you off

If people still don't get it (smh) you have to copy the person before you pass the scissor. For example geo cross her leg and they all had to cross their leg before they could pass it...

Feet not leg. Bart had his leg crossed for at least 5 minutes and they said no.

There are many variations of this game and I love them. One is exactly like this only using two markers or pens you cross or keep them parallel depending on if your legs are crossed or not, at which point you pass the objective provided you've matched the two correctly. Another very similar variation is disregarding the leg positions and having the solution be by saying "Ok" or "Alright" before the demonstrator plays and diverts attention with the prop. Ex: "OK, my turn..." ::plays randomly with prop then passes it along to the guesser::
One that's a little different is where each person blurts out a color and if they're wearing that particular color then s/he has passed. The game ends once everyone guesses the correct and applicable color(s) for themselves. However, in all these games, no one stops playing once they've figured out the trick. They keep going til the very end in order to act as hints to the people who are continuing not to get it.
I hope they play a similar game soon
There's this game called structure! You take each players phone and one person is the builder, the builder "creates" one of the people in the group and people have to guess who it is, but the trick is you actually don't make the person and you copy their actions. The way to win the game is either the people never find out who she built or how the game works or, the people win by knowing how to play the game and know who the builder made; but once you know how to play you can't tell the other people how... It's fun sorry for the long description..

You should do the game where you get random items for each person. The objective of this brain teaser is to find who the person is. So you basically move the items any way you want it, but the thing is,you have name which item is who, when you ask the people " Who am I?", you do the same exact pose or gestures the person (you pick) is doing. For example, if Bart picked Casey and Casey was putting his hands under the table, Bart does the same. You have to make it unoticeable so that they have a hard time thinking who it is. So the whole thing is that the items don't mean anything, its just that you act like the person you picked. You could name this game. If you pick mine, ill definitely watch it!
One person should be the one who asks like Geo in the Scissor Challenge and good luck!
I sort of like this idea, maybe you should email them? and btw, I feel like it might be obivious if this challenege is played too early. They'll likely remember this brain teaser thing =)

This is a cool way of playing the game. How I was taught this game was that if you were sitting with your legs crossed in any way, the scissors would have to be passed open (since they look like they are your legs crossed), and if you were sitting with your legs straight or open, the scissors would have to be passed closed.

I've done this before, It absolutely hilarious watching everyone so confused, and then at the last bit one 1 person can't get it but everyone knows :') You can only really play it once though because then everyone watches out for things like that after.
