Fun Fact you can disolve plastic riot shields with canned expanding insulation foam. It disolves there shields and makes them even more flamable than they were before at the same time incase they are being ultra violent. Tell your friends. The liquid acrilic makes the hardened acrylic on the riot shields melt the same way and turns them to mush.
Over time it will dissolve. Anyone playing silly games might not be allowed that kind of time. Especially, if you have someone using Molotov's, the police would be justified in using lethal force. In other words don't give silly advice that will get some kid shot so you can sound clever on the internet. I have spoken
@@silverjohn6037 its not silly advise. Police murder people in cold blood ots a matter of time before there are justified riots again and out of control pigs need a counter balance. And it does work fast even on riot shields. Its a cheap cpunter to the over militarization of the police.
For starters a chemical reaction like that isn't gonna happen very quickly. They're definitely not flammable either, they're designed specifically to counter the threat of incidinary devices like molotovs. Shields like this are in use because they work. @@rexblade504lol, one of his “comrades” threw the Molotov and it set fire to his feet. And then the riot police who were the target had to run up and use a fire extinguisher to save him. Beautiful irony!
Just to give some detail, full metal shields were not used in combat unless maybe it was super thin and small, those were more decorative pieces usually made of more expensive metal for kings or nobles to show off in their homes to show how rich they were, like a gold plated ak-47 in modern day. An actual useful combat shield would have been made of wood with sometimes leather rims with the intended purpose of getting the enemy's melee weapon stuck in it to force disarm the opponent. some shields that were metal plated like the jousting knight's shield are special and purpose made for the sport not necessarily in live battles, metal rimmed shields are largely myth, not much evidence of them being used in battlefields those found were more modern recreations or depictions, basically museum props.
There were however some shields made from metal, like the buckler which was very small and mostly intended as a deflecting tool for one-handed weapons in duels, it was also light and so could be used as a punching weapon in a pinch.
When our city hosted the G20, the visiting Korean protesters used flexible handled sledge hammers to defeat a shield wall. The authorities did not form a Testudo and I'm not sure it would have helped. Imagine standing behind a plastic shield and someone is swinging a 6lb hammer on a bendy shaft. It bends right over the shield and clocks you in the helmet and shoulders. It's hard to maintain a formation when you're unconscious. Brutal. 😮
One of the best things you can do to plastic shields is calcium carbide in distilled water melts straight through and sticks to skin to the bone burns at, at lest 3,500 - 5000 c those piggy's ant coming back best lit then thrown very quickly as the glass will melt like mad, Hay youtube this is an interesting lesion in chemistry im not saying for anyone to do it, as I do like commenting and liking your content.
So you explicitly want to cause death or severe burns to riot officers? That’s going to invite Law Enforcement to be far more aggressive, cause you just, as you put it, burned their fellow officers down to the bone. And do remember your dealing with actual humans, not just faceless goons.
You just do what the cops apparently do and just study ancient battle tactics, then utilize those with modern and improvised tactics and weapons, altho in order for whatever plan you put together to work you first need to try and get everyone who participates in riots to be on the same page as you and be willing to follow through on your plans, you and these rioters would then need to train for years or at least months in martial arts and fighting with each other in formations and chosen weapons (getting jack would also be a requirement) y'all would also have to find a few ways to communicate and ways for y'all to identify each other, (brightly colored armor sets with a symbol should probably help with identification) and finally, y'all will have to establish a strict militaristic hierchy so that people will know who's supposed to give orders and stuff.
A very large brawl broke out at a hospital in Kawaguchi, Japan, last night, due to a fight between a group of Kurds. I was very surprised to hear about the situation through a tweet from a Kawaguchi City Council member. It is very sad, but the time has come again in Japan when ordinary citizens need to know about shields to protect themselves.
The shield, like the baton, together with their armor, is only powerful against untrained mobs when they outnumber the mob by large numbers. They can't even protect themselves against the same amount of people with baseball bat.
@@Great_Wizard_you could also try turning up the water pressure on those water cannons they got and see if it would spray people to death like a water saw, altho a tactic like that is probably already banned for being inhumane.

It's all fun an game till the police shouts "NO PRISONERS, NO MERCY!! "
Words that ought to guarantee the end of a police officer's career and trigger an audit of the departments involved at least.
@@silverjohn6037 works on there gas masks too on there vision shields all the same material
@@silverjohn6037this. Your going to roll like that just go hard, your playing stupid games stupid prizes playing with hardware gear
For starters a chemical reaction like that isn't gonna happen very quickly. They're definitely not flammable either, they're designed specifically to counter the threat of incidinary devices like molotovs. Shields like this are in use because they work.
You should be telling your friends to not fight with the police.
"I am fortifying this position"
We still use shields in the army as one is cappable to stop a full burst of an ar15 or even a 50bmg
That remind me the Sparta meme
Rioters : we most heavily armed and we want chaos
Police Riot 1: THIS IS SPARTA!!!!
Police Riot 2 : POLICE FORCE!!! COME AND GET THEM!!!!
The rectangular curved shields used by cops are modern replica of Roman scutum
Guy with molotov: wanna see them burn?
I still remember when a dude lit himself on fire with a Molotov back in 2020.
Me and the boys forming a Testudo just to LARP as a tank.
love how some of the pro testers have trash can lid sheild
When our city hosted the G20, the visiting Korean protesters used flexible handled sledge hammers to defeat a shield wall. The authorities did not form a Testudo and I'm not sure it would have helped. Imagine standing behind a plastic shield and someone is swinging a 6lb hammer on a bendy shaft. It bends right over the shield and clocks you in the helmet and shoulders. It's hard to maintain a formation when you're unconscious. Brutal. 😮
"Modern Problems, Ancient Solutions"
I was searching exactly this on Google yesterday and then I see this video appear on my feed, talk about perfect timing
One of the best things you can do to plastic shields is calcium carbide in distilled water melts straight through and sticks to skin to the bone burns at, at lest 3,500
- 5000 c those piggy's ant coming back best lit then thrown very quickly as the glass will melt like mad, Hay youtube this is an interesting lesion in chemistry im not saying for anyone to do it, as I do like commenting and liking your content.
Excited to try in mincraft
This is the stupidest comment of the year right here
So you explicitly want to cause death or severe burns to riot officers?
That’s going to invite Law Enforcement to be far more aggressive, cause you just, as you put it, burned their fellow officers down to the bone. And do remember your dealing with actual humans, not just faceless goons.
Really cool and edgy advice, but I wonder why you're not doing it yourself?

One of the few old weapons that are still being used in today’s world that isn’t just for ceremonial sake
Now do a video about how to defeat these shield walls. Does it require long pikes? Are there other methods?
Wedge, cavalry, terrain, feigned retreat...
Don't participate in a riot. Simple
Altho reading back on this now, all of this is pretty much impossible to accomplish, tho seeing it be attempted would be pretty cool.

That didn’t work before
I love how the rioters were protesting fast food in this video 😂😂
Say no to Junk Food
It's all fine and good until the rioters acquire elephants!
This video reminds me of training I had when I was a auxillary police officer. 😂😂
Whenever I see a shield, it reminds me of Sparta
The shield, like the baton, together with their armor, is only powerful against untrained mobs when they outnumber the mob by large numbers. They can't even protect themselves against the same amount of people with baseball bat.
That why there is something called a gun
@@Great_Wizard_You're not intelligent
@@Great_Wizard_you could also try turning up the water pressure on those water cannons they got and see if it would spray people to death like a water saw, altho a tactic like that is probably already banned for being inhumane.
