Gran Turismo (グランツーリスモ Guran Tsūrisumo?, also previously known as Gran Turismo 4 Mobile,Gran Turismo Mobile,Gran Turismo 5 Portable and Gran Turismo Portable) is a 2009 PlayStation Portable (PSP) game developed by Polyphony Digital. The game was announced at the E3 Sony press conference on May 11, 2004, the same conference where Sony announced the original PSP. Following five years of delays and speculation, it made a reappearance at E3 on June 2, 2009 in a playable form. It was released on October 1, 2009 as one of the launch titles for the new PSP Go. As of March, 2013, Gran Turismo has sold 4.22 million units, making it one of the best-selling PSP games.On June 1, 2010, the game was rereleased as part of the Greatest Hits.
Enhanced graphics with emulator PPSSPP.For recording I used a Nvidia Shadowplay (it can handle 1080p at 60FPS).

Without a doubt.This is the best racing game on the psp.The amount of content that this game has considering its a psp game is amazing.The graphics are really good.Many people complain about the lack of a career mode but in my opinion this game is a pick up and play at any moment game.Also collecting cars is the game's biggest asset.Great game and a must have for psp racing fans.
Mark Dck I totally agree man. I got badly addicted to this game when it first came out. It pretty much got me back into gaming and turned me into the sim racing fanatic I am now. I owe it all to GT PSP
I do gotta say that TOCA 2 (AKA Race Driver 2006 in America), and F1 2006 are also incredible racing games on PSP. TOCA 2 has a really impressive feature set. Not as many cars but it had more tracks and it had weather, damage, rally racing, it was quite impressive for such an old game. Same with F1 2006. Just got it and it's SO GOOD
+Hugo Stiglitz I'd also say Initial D Street Stage is pretty good, but it's an arcade racer rather than a sim racer, so eh.
Sadly games like initial d are extremely rare.I have seen a couple of videos and you re right but its an arcade.GT on the psp competes with games like toca 2,f1 2006 etc.
Mark Dck I can run Street Stage on PPSSPP at full speed but with a few minor graphical issues here and there, but GT PSP is a bit laggy.
Akaito Shion Yea PPSSPP is hit or miss.
The antialiasing makes the game look so much better
Gran Turismo and ridge racer were my fav racing games on the PSP.
Ridge racer 2 with high graphics much better than granturismo high graphics

They have av/c cables that fit the audio and tv jack at the bottom of the psp. I’m gonna get one so I can enjoy it in high quality!

I realised that many PSP emulation videos have a jittery behaviour of the screen! It may be something related to the slightly odd resolution of the PSP (480x272)! If it was 270 horizontal lines, it would be symmetrical with the 1080 standard!

***** If you're asking why it looks a bit blurry: to get rid of it, go to ingame Options - General Settings tab and change Display Optimisation to "Video Out". That makes the game quite sharper. Screenshots can't show this issue. Only video can.

Make a Gran Turismo Sport for PS VITA. Give it the graphics of Gran Turismo 6 , 300 Cars, all with interior, good visual, and performance upgrades, good physics, 50 tracks, good HUD, and Multiplayer. Release it in February 2017. I will pay $60 for that Polyphony Studios! It would be the best racing game ever on mobile!

Nate Great Games meh, I'd say it looks worse than GT Concept tbh but it's honestly impressive they made a PSP game this graphically intensive.

PSP games was released to run in 20-30 FPS, if you have a powerful PC or phone, you can emulate with 60 FPS.

why does the screen shake so much
Because it's in the very front view of the car, thats the car shaking, not the screen. If you were to view this from the 3rd person angle, the car would shake a bit. It does on the actual psp version as well.
Man i went to play it on the emulator and damn it shakes a shit ton.
Oh i fixed it you have to change the display type in the games in game options.
Go to romsformame.com there is game and emulator. Tested and working !

Grant Williams I think the game look's rather good for a handheld game my only criticism is it doesn't have the main career mode.It has arcade mode only which is a bit dissapointing but despite that it's still a pretty good racing game on the psp.
