Sim trucking finally gets some recognition from bigger sim accessory manufacturer's... Only a mere 22 years late lol
Hori is so bad wdym
@@ishaanchandel6966 can you elaborate?
@@ishaanchandel6966 So is ASUS, Logitech, Gigabyte, Ferrari, Mercedes and your Grandma at cooking.
Heyyyy 😂
Still gotta wait till 2025 to get it
All it needs is the ability to adjust the tilt of the wheel and you have the ultimate driving simulator wheel, not just for SCS Truck Sim but BeamNG and Farming Simulator as well.
This came up in the stream & it does at least have some level of rake adjustment.
@@dxutube Sweet! I've been waiting for this kind of simulator wheel forever. I have no clue why it took this long.
that would only be for desk mounting though, as a rig mounting then you get that kind of adjustability anyway.
titl mechanism is gonna raise the cost at least $200 lol
@@windshearahead7012 moza truck wheel desk clamp does this
omg levers for the blinkers and wipers this is so freaking beautiful !
that one feature makes me want to buy it.
@@taitaylor86Same bro
Definitely. I hate having to use the gear shifter panels on the g29 wheel for direction indicators.
@@owenjones-wells9395 same
@@owenjones-wells9395 I do that too.
I'm so glad to finally see a wheel not only 1800 degrees. But having the Scania adaptive opticruise transmission system integrated into the wheel. It's the best one yet. I just wish the retardar stick would be like a real truck
Thank you for the stream SCS. This looks exactly like the sort of product that this simulator platform needs. In a very rare personal move I have effected a pre-order on this occasion.
Same 😂 Amazon has it at a $100 pre-order sale. And they have amazing return or exchange policies so it's a win win
@@MrMagoo-no5lb Well I wasn't quite lucky in that regard but I am looking forward to it nonetheless. It's a strange feeling. Meanwhile my G27 has to hang on past its 10th birthday.
@dxutube Same here too, my G27 is still going strong after all these years. I honestly thought it would only last me 6 months. I did buy the add-on kit this company makes that adds on stalks on each side for turn signals and lights and the farm sim panel with all them buttons. It looks pretty ghetto but it gets the job done.
@@MrMagoo-no5lb wait what? That's lucky!
@@matthijsvandeweerd1415 he's lying mate. wouldn't even just get the indicator sticks for 100 lmao
Btw you should add an option under transmission option to use whatever the truck is using, and then have manual and automatics to add to the truck, so if you switch trucks often, and want some with an automatic and some without, you don't have to change the settings all the time.
Yes please.
All transmissions in both games are either automated manuals or Allison torque-automatics but the ability to assign it per-vehicle would be nice regardless.
That’s pretty epic. As long as it’s solid quality I’ll be picking one up.
To answer Nemiro's question on trucking across the Golden Gate: it technically has a 65 foot length limit, so it's supposed to mainly be local truck traffic using it with daycabs and shorter trailers. Long haul semis with the 53 footers mainly use the big freeways to access customers on the peninsula, which is either 280, 80, or 101 from San Jose or Oakland, and then using 580 to connect from 80 up to Marin on the north side of the Bay. There honestly aren't many excuses to truck across the Golden Gate Bridge, the only time I've done it I was just bobtailing from San Jose up to Windsor (tractor with no trailer) and it would have been faster to go up the east side of the bay instead. I don't think the length limit is really enforced that heavily, since it's pretty out of the way for long haulers.
I am a 33 year veteran driver, and enjoy ETS2 as it offers a much more different driving experience than ATS. Your comment on the differing brake effect while bobtail, some insight into that. IRL there is a proportional control valve inside the the treadle valve (the initial valve in the system before the relays, etc), that when the trailer supply valve is not pushed in and supplying the trailer with air (tractor protection valve), changes the brake pressure needed to slow or stop a bobtail. With my Thrustmaster TMX, it feels like that, so I think they have programmed it into the game.
Wow!!! This is a dream come true!
The shifter unit with the realistic buttons looks awesome.
To be fair Hori have done some fair work recently having developed a wheel / panel kit for FS 22 and now the truck control system for ETS, ATS etc...Right now I am in the market for a new wheel and though this is available after December 2024 this is definitely something I'd like to try out.
that shifter need to be a standalone product asap
here to say the same :)
Please!
Looks fantastic 🎉
Thanks so much for sharing !!! I can't wait to buy just the shifter and all those buttons !
Shifter is next level! thats all! 👍
I could pre-order that thing omg 😍
amazing! Cant wait to play with it.
This is amazing, that more companies finally releasing truck sim accessories. To the Product developers at HORI: In version 2, please make the gearshift and those buttons detachable. Because some of us are not playing this game on a table, but in a sim racing setup. It means, we mount the gearshift to the bottom and those buttons should be much higher near the screen.
that is stunning
Super konecne poradny volant na kamiony. moc vam dekuji hned ho koupim.
nice setup for omsi 2 aswell
wow!! it is amazing!
I think it's nice that more brands are making this kind of wheel. Recently Moza released their TSW and now Hori brings another one. I have to admit though that I've never heard of this brand before. I hope their hardware is reliable and have sucess with this product.
Moza is direct drive hori? What is is plastic toy? Moza is better for me
@@RewolutionPL Moza TSW Wheel works with any Moza base and as far as I know I think all of them are DD including the cheapest that I think is the R5.
Considering the price of the entire Hori set and that I can't find anything about DD in Hori I'm guessing it's not DD.
Now, while it's true that DD bases normally are better if you can't affort to pay for all the Moza stuff and want something less expensive this seems like a nice alternative. Moza is an already established brand, Hori I have no clue how good they are. The good think on paper is that includes a button panel with the shifter (that also seems to be prepared to drive a manual american truck), and includes the stalks. I think Moza that planned having a stalk complement but it seems it's no available yet.
Regarding price Hori seems to cost around 650 euros but I guess prices depends where you are buying it. With Moza only the base and wheel cost more or less the same...and that is without buying the pedals, shifter, stalks and a button panel. So buying more or less the same with Moza is going to be way more expensive. Also Moza seems to be a complete ecosystem so you can use the same base with other Moza wheels (if you want something more "racey" for more competitive games) and I'm just guessing with Hori what you get is just this.
Having said all that I applaud Hori for releasing this. Even if it's not Direct Drive I hope that even if "cheap" (al least cheaper than the alternative) at least is a durable product and doesn't give too many issues to whoever buys it.
@@RewolutionPL what?
@@RewolutionPL what
Hori has been around for a couple of decades making various gaming accessories.
I know what I`ll have after New Year!!
That is absolutely beautiful! Will have to get one. Just the mere fact that it has a signal light lever, it is a must-have!
this one or moza tsw both look good
@@asjbfjbkaw Moza is significantly more expensive though and currently without the SL lever. That will come later, for probably another 100+ dollars.
@@BloPsy__ Youre right moza products are more expensive but definitely better build quality and direct drive wheel ofc. I mean 500 bucks for this one isn't so cheap either yk, atleast with the moza one in my case I can swap the wheel and drive a car instead. Now if this one was more like 200 or 300 bucks then it would be an easy choice for me.
I will say though that all of the buttons and the shifter part on this are nice.
@@asjbfjbkaw Yeah, but this has way more usability - I mean look at all those buttons. I don't really care for DD, I play ETS2 only anyway, so for me, this is perfect. If I was going to do racing too, I would get the MOZA one.
This is a very cool product, I am really thinking about upgrading to this.
I just pre-ordered mine, I hope I like it. 😂
it looks so cool and awesome, its the setup we all want/need for simulators like ets2, wish so badly i could buy it :D
WOW THIS IS AMAZING🤯🤯
This steering wheel really needs to be sold in Brazil
Having used a G29 with various homemade/improvised peripherals for years, this is so exciting! Sure i might have to live on oatmeal until new year, to afford the 600€ pricetag, but look at that thing!
Looks like something I need to buy. 🤑
I want this so bad. This has been the topic at work lately between fellow sim drivers. I
This looks great! Thanks HORI and SCS for the colab on this.
Question for SCS; Will the HORI wheel be available in the game so that your steering wheel on the screen matches the actual wheel? (sorry if that's already covered and I missed it)
Question for HORI; On future models, will there be a couple of blank buttons in case of anyone wanting to add a few defaults themselves? Someone else mentioned a button for CB radio, so a press to talk on the wheel for example could be handy.
you can change it in setting so that you can see 1800 degrees on the screen but maybe it will be automaticly change
25:09 extra blank buttons
there actually is a press to talk button on the left side of the wheel they show this a little after 27:30
They did mention a one to one relationship - so as you turn the physical wheel the in-game wheel mimics it.
@@awev5233 yea ets and ats have thats the game can have any rotation shown on the screen
Que hermoso juguete para adultos 😅 espero poder tener uno en mis manos algún día, es algo asi como el volante definitivo para ETS2 y ATS se vé fantástico!
ohhhhhhhh! NICE very NICE
That's solid
defo getting this
Good morning gentlemen, yesterday's updates to the Ats and Ets2 beta are very low in FPS.
And congratulate them for the work they are doing on them.
I'm already waiting for that steering wheel to be available to buy, it's brutal.
sold im getting this
Com certeza o mais completo até o momento e o sonho de todos que jogas ETS e ATS. parabéns pelo produto, ainda terei o meu com certeza.
Just started looking at the sim wheel market and this pops up. Timing couldn't be better.
Mark is like, come on guys, I wanna get truckin dudes !! ETS 2 and ATS are presently my 2 favourite sim games with Train Sim World 4 3rd, I'm using the Thrustmaster TS-XW racing wheel with T-LCM pedals and the amazing sim panel button box, truck shifter adapter for the Thrustmaster gear shifter ( the shiny one, sorry guys, I forget the model ) . Play in VR and it is just fantastic. Cannot wait until the end of this year for this Hori truck control system, I'll be getting it, subject to decent reviews of course.
How will the white print on any of those buttons last before they are worn away?
will the wheel parts be individually available after release encase you spill your coffee while trying to miss tumble weed in the desert for example? or would you have to buy the complete setup for a 2nd time?
what is the force feedback like at the hardest settings like an old truck without power steering?
what type of mounting holes does it use for a rig setup? as desk mounting while ok for those that got the settings down to no force feedback is useless for those that want a realistic feel which can only come from using it on a rig.
how far have the SCS team tried to push the wheel to it's limits of what a normal gamer would expect the wheel to withstand and then some more?
there are so many questions that I feel were not answered in the whole of this demo, I know not release date yet, but these are things the more serious gamers will want to know.
excellent!!!!
It would be so nice if we could change the position of the steering wheel mount to make it like a car
I do have one question, does the button icons light up on the steering wheel and control panel? I hope so, that would be awesome.
removable / interchangeable face caps for the controls would be even more awesome, because that default layout isn't how I would like it for sure, nice kit guys, well done.
If you left the centre emblem blank you could supply stickers for people to assign their favourite truck brands maybe as well ??
The collar on the right stick should rotate anti clockwise to engage reverse on most modern auto trucks I have driven in RL. (European)
The only shame I see here is that the wheel is not direct drive.
Awesome
What an amazing software company SCS Software are, the trucking games have been out for years now and they are just getting better and better. The staff seem very happy too, getting to travel to meet partners etc, what a job !! I cannot wait for this Hori truck control system , good things come to those that wait !! I just selected the Kenworth 900 and the cattle trailer and quick travelled to San Francisco, drove over the GoldenGate bridge, in glorious VR as well. Quick question guys, will VR be coming to the game natively at any point ? Many thanks for two brilliant sim games.
I love this, and can't wait. Hey guys, many interested fans of the product have been asking me whether the buttons will have some backlight for visibility when the product is fully released. Kindly if possible, Could you propose the suggestion to Hori? Love the direction this is taking ATS and ETS2.
This wheel looks awsome. i do think i wantneed it :P
Wish somebody would make affordable force feedback gear shifter. I’ve seen one that well over $1200 but that ridiculous just for gear shifter that just shake some. But yeah we do need better truck wheels.
I would get the moza one
Tô be honest I don't know... I still use my old trusty g27, and it is very plastic too, but it work without a fault for 8 years by now
Moza doesnt have the kit this one have , must admit very impressive
me too added a shifting mod
@@Joaofigas1 Moza is adding a turn signal add-on for theirs
@@RavenStorm332 oh really have to see that
@@RavenStorm332 they need to release a full bundle to be similar, even if motor is a better DD.
would be awesome to get this down under. so when are we getting Australian truck sim guys?
i love it

Sorry bro, but was too good not to notice and mention haha
the only minor complaint that i have is that other button boxes have a key for the ignition, and i like that much better.
I need this. Already looking at the website.
The wheel looks pretty good, and appears to be worth the money, materials look nice too, but since the HORI site states that a lot of button mappings are hardcoded, the only question I have is:
Does the wheel support any games other than ETS 2 and ATS?
Finally a wheel that has a HUGE horn button 😂😂😂😂
I love the shifter, can it work with g923?
I love it and i will it !!! BENY
my only things id say is a bit more space between shifter and the button board and button back lighting
Noice!!!
This needed to be a thing like 15 years ago.
Better late than never I guess.
Backlit buttons? If not on this, that would be great for low light playing. Also, physical key ignition start and maybe optional ports for things like cb mic accessory
will we be able to buy the shifter separate to the wheel and pedals
Take my money i want One
Me too love it ❤
whyyyy i bought myself a Fanatec CSL DD wheel which is amazing btw but now i want this...damn man
only thing i can put on this is the lack of elevation options on the steering-wheel but might be easy to mod I think
My question is is the shift module is it on usb or do you need to plug it in the steering wheel
Going to get 1
If you play ATS with a gear stick/clutch do you have to rev match and double clutch or rev match and float gear like a real unsynchronized transmission or is just like shifting car?
as stated elsewhere, also my heart beats into both directions. Clearly the market is there and many units for sure will be sold and this is truly some kind of amazing. The quality as such seems to be fairly solid and decent.
The major downside i feel, is the gear drive, which definitely is no more state of the art. Things saying like "this is robust" etc ... i hear it everywhere - i don't give anything on, because fact based other techologies are same way robust and very often even more robust.
Make it a direct drive and give it an increase of 100 bugs
So far i followed there are no information at current for torque delivered by the motors / base.
If you go for manual shifting time will show, whether the shifting knob and shifter keeps its promises.
Summing it up:
this is something nice, but please guys: upgrade to a better drive technology.
Cheers
i like it alot but its not direct drive so more chance for gears to break like fantec had problems with alo tilt adjust would be good to add
So sad that this product is never going to be available in argentina :C
❤
Those things are expensive! It's about 1000 AU dollars for me, but with 39 input buttons it kinda makes sense..
the gear shitft knob should be splitter in the front and the range on the side also were is the one were you can use a keys like the button boxes
Yo lets goo
This wheel is awesome. But i dont buy it yet, because my old thrustmaster wheel and pedals still working good so why to spend more money :) when my actual wheel stop working, then i can think about it. But yes, nice wheel for trucking :)
Would be nice to have a shifter for American 18 speeds
I already have the MOZA TSW Truck Wheel but I pre-order this one from Amazon. sorry guys I'm big fan of American an Euro Tuck Simulator. 😁
Where did u get the new truck simulator steering wheel
Can the gear lever be purchased separately?
👌👌👌👌👌
please do not get me wrong this be an awesome wheel and it looks great but i did notice when they discussed how many buttons it actually has they could have added a Ignition switch with a key and may be a CB jack which you could use actual CB mic's to chat on convoy and the trailer brake was also missing i think these would be awesome addition to this controller
A key? It's 2024.
A key is nice but you have to understand how different games handle ignition states and having an ignition and start button is much more easier.
Truck sim has Ignition Off and On while BeamNG has Off, Accessories, On, followed by holding the UI button to start (or the dedicated start button if bound).
Plus, that action on a button panel that I have has gotten worn out to the point that when I turn the key to Ignition On, then turn it to start, the panel sometimes registers the "Ignition Toggle" rather than "Start".
I really think this controller set is amazing as it'll reduce the clutter of USBs needed for a truck sim setup.
Its just 2 buttons, you can make your own ignition and start button. its so easy
For the brakes, this seams to be more Euro style as you only have the one park brake here.
And there do seam to be battery and start/stop buttons.
This is really impressive but I still wish we had more modular standardised systems available out there. It feels like you have to buy a whole seprate setup for each game eg. Farming Simulators wheel and joystick, ETS/ATS' wheel and shifter shown in this video, and a typical direct drive setup for racing. If only we had a standardised base that we could just attach different rims to and interchangeable gear sticks.
Moza has that, you can change wheels and get the truck wheel...
will this come as individual pieces or does it come as only a package?
I wonder if it is possible to see what mode the Lane Assist, Gearbox/Transmission Mode and so on is set to, without constantly having to check the Gameplay/Control Options ?
I hope they'll sell that shifter separately cuz i already have a wheel and pedals.
ooooooh HORI is doing some studying
Do you plan on doing a giveaway for this product? And stay loyalty to your fans and show us your appreciation? Just wondering :D
Will the keys be backlit on controls
I ask, did HORI contact Saber Interactive, developers/publishers of Snowrunner just to try and get it to work with that game at any point? I am sure getting this device to work with that game may be troublesome. Just asking. I think the product is amazing and I'm sure to buy one.
woow 🤤
I would have put the cruise control on the right where the nav things are as will use more than nav
