A fun attention to details! During Marisa‘a theme, magus night, when patchies theme and Alice’s them play together, it ultimately Alice’s theme that comes out on top! Why? Its because patchie was a mid-boss in an extra stage in EoSD, while Alice was the extra boss herself in MS :)
Even the characters that have nothing to do with each other have themes that combine amazingly. Guess in a way it represents Gensokyo as the land of fantasy, everyone getting along.
