How does the inflatable version compare to the hardboard in terms of stability when paddling on flat water? I expect the inflatable to be harder to balance because you're positioned higher above the waterline.

Great review, thanks ! Do you think it's suitable for a SUPer that would like to start winging on a light wind spot ?

That s a hard question to answer. I would suggest you first to rent a big regular wingboard for at least 6-8 sessions and have first your basic down.
If you can already wing ( basic jibe and riding upwind) this board can be a real gamechanger on light wind days !

Great review! What’s your weight? And do think you could stand on the smaller size? Thx!

Thank you :) i m happy to help! i def could stand on the smaller size, this is a 115lt and i weigh 85kg but i think that this 7.4 will be the main size for riders looking for paddling and winging. i think the smaller one could be a bit too shaky in turbulent waters, for flat pumping might be not a too big of an issue, a longer board will get you anyway earlier on foil. I din t try the small one, but i m lately mainly riding a 105 liter hard board so i assume the 6.10 might be at the edge of doable for me

Is the deck domed, flat, or concave? Does the included bag have wheels? What is the weight? THANKS!

      I will look into this
I got the board in demo without bag. Didn t weigh but i think 5kg max. Will come back with an answer

Hi, I got one on loan yesterday. No wheels. The board is extremely light, but I still find it hard to carry on my back. Of course it's not specific to this model... I'm eager to try the flat water start, that's my latest obsession, the definitive "I'm in good shape" marker 😀.

88kg met de 6.6 gaat lukken, of wordt dat een strijd met lichte wind wingen?

Hi, one "detail": the screws that come with it are M8 and short. It is impossible to mount my Naish and Gong foils without replacing them with short M6. You have to remove the foam blocks that prevent the carets from sliding out. They seem to be glued in place, but I'm not sure and can't try to fiddle with them since my board is on loan from a shop... 😢

Hey, I just tried sup foiling on flatwater with the 115l version of the Duotone Downwinder and the Fanatic high aero aspect 2000 wing for the first time, but after a couple strokes the board immediately turns and doesn’t go straight. I have a 75cm mast, so it’s quite confusing. Any tips?

      Hi
I think that has to do more with your stance than with the gear
Try to change stance and find the optimal posture on the board!
Bend your leg and not your upperbody
