Great job. A breath of fresh air and certainly taking shape. The down time will let you reflect on the next build stages and might give more clarity on the expected outcome. Looking forward to the next video. I am enjoying the build as much as you both obviously are. Keep up the good work.
Fantastic progress guys. After 5 weeks of stripping out the fully fibreglassed interior of our dog grooming van, this weekend was cutting huge holes for the Maxxfan and 2 windows which are curing overnight. Onto sound deadening and insulation next week, keep thinking of you guys as we do the work. With both of us having L3H2 Relays, it will be interesting how different they turn out. Looking forward to your next video.
Nice one guys looks like your doing very well. I'll be doing mine next year here in Southampton but saving for a van at the moment. Inspirational to watch.
Kayak look up PORTSWOOD cars and commercials, southampton, just bought a 2015 l3h2 relay for a reasonable price. It was the best price we could find and came from Devon to buy it. Its an ex AA signs van in bright yellow. Won't loose it in a car park lol
Lockdown means delivery times are delayed and so we can't get all the bits we need right now to storm ahead with the build. We already have most of the electrics sat in our living roo, including the firdge. The roof rack and ladder has been ordered, as well as large sheets of ply to start work on the kitchen! Hope you're enjoying the build :) Callum & Tash
Can't believe how quickly you're coming on! I'm 15 months into build and still don't have my overhead cupboards!! Can't even use lockdown as an excuse, as I'm lucky to have a local independent hardware store which has remained open the whole time, and I can just drive down there to get any timber/ply that I need.
Hi, so did you use glue for one of your frames? you go a little bit fast for me. I am a total newbie. but this video gives me a great idea thanks very much.
Have to agree here. This is the simplest method for making cabinets but important info is missing. Did you use L brackets to attach the 230 batters of wood at the upper and lower front face? How did you attached the pieces of wood that are dividing the front face? (Tash glued then screwed them into the batterns under the foil in the wall - did you screw them into the front face or just use glue?) Those two questions will help me to build these cabinets in my van. They look really good!
Unlike the other van builds that I saw, I love that there is no wall inside the cabinet, which can lessen the cost of the build!
Well done you two, great progress being made.
Very handy to have a lefty and a righty on the job. 👍
Thanks Paul! Yes it definitely does haha

Thanks a lot! Yeah for sure.. we’ve got a lot of supplies sat in our house but we need a few more things to arrive before we can crack on 😁
Progressing nicely guys!
Cheers Bruce

enjoying these video's. catching up from the beginning, looking forward to seeing how far you have got, good luck :)
Thank's Ian. We hope you're enjoying them :) We've come quite far but still have a little way to go

Haha were interested to know what’s stopping you from just cracking on?
@@CallumTash I'm just a perfectionist so take a long time to make decisions! It's also costing a lot more than I anticipated!
Ah that’s fair enough.. yeah if you want to do it properly it’ll definitely cost a fair bit

Hi guys- what height and depth of cabinet did you go for ?
About 20cm in depth... not sure of the height but perhaps 30cm
Great video guys, you van is coming on nicely. Brilliant idea to build the cupboards that way. Are you planning on living in the van when you finish?
Yeah that’s the plan :)
How do you rate your jigsaw? I need a new one and looking at Erbauer. Van looking good guys!
I rate it highly. Thanks! :)
Im frustrated that you didn't even show how the cupboards were actually attached to the ceiling! What's the point?!
We attached the cupboards to the wooden battens on the ceiling

I didn’t quite get the dimensions of your cabinets, was it 20x30 cm? :-)
The O Team yes I believe so.. something close to that :)
Callum & Tash awesome thank you 😊
Callum & Tash we are actually based in Hampshire at the moment, who knows when we finish our van we might even see meet 😂😂
The O Team there’s a good chance we will if you go to some vanlife events etc 😁
Callum & Tash camp quirky 👍🏻
I have been waiting for a pack of rivnuts to put my bed up with for 10 days. It's a nightmare guys
Such a nightmare! Can’t complain too much though as we do have bits other than wood delivered already
Good lord love! Please tie your hair up when using power tools.
