bro all 3 of these were actually crazy, these never usually have violence in them, but the last one turned those tables, also probably one of the most terrifying 3 I've ever heard from this channel.

"no arrests were made" has to be the most frustrating and upsetting phrase anyones ever heard. damn that as insane.. im shook.
I mean... people call the cops as coping, but no one with a working brain will expect there to be a arrests.
Like what the cops gonna do? search the hole forrest? would be nice if they could, but people go missing in the woods for reason.
The best and only thing cops really can do is go: "yeah those are indeed woods, and claim down we heard you wild story and will write it down. "
like its kinda funny, all the cops can do is write the incident down and tell you "they got it from here"
But that just mean if you go missing one day, we may have something worth putting more time and effort into investigating on a larger scale, or if there is enough reports, gain some idea of where the problem is located and some logic to what ever it is.
but like, is laughable how little can be done, and that's what i love about those storied, the reminder that nature is still nature.
The most frustrating thing for me was "my gun was unloaded" like honestly me personally idgaf bout safe storage laws, when i need a gun i dont got time to load it and i dont even leave my bedroom without mf 17 shots of 9 in my one hand😭💀

Anybody else think Mr nightmare is literal survival training, I’m much more cautious as a result of my daily listening , I’ve also as a result noticed more threats and have explained to all of my children the deep degree of danger strangers can be to them .
It's not just strangers, friends and relatives can harm you too. Evil can be in anyone.
I feel like his channel has a similar effect to fairytales back in the day. XD

I was leaving the gym at UCSD late one evening, around 25 years ago. A long time ago, I know. I was not a student, I was 31 and married to an alum, which gave me the right to use the gym but not park in the student parking lot. Thus, I parked across the street from the student parking lot, where the road leads to the glider port. In any case, by 9pm, the whole place was deserted. The student parking lot, which had been jam packed, when I arrived, around 7pm, was completely empty. Likewise, across the street where the street parking was…except for a skanky, old, beaten up white van which was, too coincidentally, parked directly behind my car. I clocked it and felt a wave of unease sweep over me. It was nighttime, I was a female, alone, and a dirty van was directly behind my car. As I walked towards my car, I did not stop, did not break stride, however, I managed to subtly reach my hand into my purse and place my hand around my keys. When I was just 20 or 30 feet from my car, I broke into a run and just as I did that, BOTH doors of that van swung open! I didn’t stop, I jammed my key straight into my door lock, jumped in and immediately locked the door. A scary and skinny looking guy walked up to my window. He had stringy, long hair, a narrow caved in sort of face you’d imagine on a druggy. He moved slowly and started knocking on my window and saying “I scared you. Why are you scared? I’m not alone, my wife is with me.” As he finished the last sentence, an equally scary looking, very skanky woman walked up and stood beside him. “Open your window so we can talk.” He says. I lowered it just an inch. Then he continues talking “We’re having car trouble and my wife needs a ride so that she can make a phone call. Could you drive her to a nearby convenience store?” I certainly did NOT want that woman in my car, anymore than I wanted him. Yet, I did have a mobile phone and pulled it out of my purse. I smiled at him and said “A phone call? No problem! Please give me the number, I’ll dial it and hand her the phone.” As soon as I said that his facial expression changed. He leaned forward until his face nearly touched my window, and glared angrily at me. Then both of them turned and ran back to their van, started it up and peeled out, as if they’d just robbed a bank. So much for having “car trouble”. I was badly shaken by the experience. I never found out whether their intent was to rob me or worse. Much, much worse. I am very cautious and listen to my spider sense, without argument, now. I’ve kept safe, ever since.

Story 1- So he endures years of mysterious footprints & missing items on his property but over those years he does not get at least one camera or even a trail cam?
Story 3- Why on earth would you leave your camper unlocked if you were hearing mysterious radio chatter & finding disturbing items in the area?
And why would they not make sure they have bullets for their firearm?

Story 1: At the very least, install motion activated cameras outside that notify you as the incident is happening. These creatures did break into the tool shed and steal from you.

That first story. That’s why I have not one dog, but two. Get a dog, keep it inside as one of the family. No one will ever sneak up on you or your property without them alarming you. It’s a win win, you treat them good, they’ll treat you even better. Loyal!
Yeah dogs are great companions. I have got recent stories and compilation where dogs could recognize danger first
I mean getting a dog is both expensive and requires a lot of work in training it, plus the guy and or his fiance might be allergic to dogs, plus not all dogs are reliable in intense situations
@ although your opinion might be true for a few dogs or families, I don’t think that is the majority of dogs or people. Every dog I’ve ever had has been so wonderful. Not much training needed to defend the ones you love. Allergies yes okay possibly but I think your argument is a little weak, I’d have dogs even if I was allergic. I would get a hypoallergenic one.

@@rdred8693 You're right, lmao. I just found it on the subreddit: it's called "The Man in the Woods". It seems like whoever submitted the story to mr nightmare extended it quite a bit, cleaned up some of the writing, and changed up the wording however

Nothing terrifies me more than anxiety induced hallucinations. My brother gets those frequently and it sounds traumatizing
Hallucinations are WILD! I had a friend with a rare sleeping disorder where he'd wake up but still see the stuff from his dreams for several minutes. It looked real asf to him to. Eventually he started having hallucinations hours after being awake and he screamed at me once because (in his mind) I had transformed into something resembling a black eyed kid.
@@maxredjasper55sleep paralysis is pretty common, but man that doesn’t make it any less terrifying! I get it regularly and have my whole life, and it is like a cycle, I will get it because I’m stressed and not getting enough sleep, then when it happens, it’s so scary that I’m too afraid to go to sleep because I don’t know if it will happen again, which causes more anxiety and insomnia, which pretty much guarantees that it will happen when I try to sleep 😭
it was a psychotic episode. he was experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations as well as paranoia.
@@KassKat519 It wasn't sleep paralysis. Whatever this was rarer than that. He was super active asleep. He'd walk around and talk to people as if he was awake but he wasn't. It was scary because he'd get a lot of sleep but his REM was out of whack.
I love nature, but being out in the woods at night would give me mega chills.
Trust me being out in the mountains past 8 o clock is unreal
Story two with the thermal scope spotting those human silhouettes in the dark, not that far away behind the trees was terrifying and brought me back to a hunting memory, good job keep it up.

Story 2 is why you NEVER hike alone, period. It's just not worth the risk. The guy was lucky it was just some creepy human that was stalking him and not a hungry bear or mountain lion that wouldn't hesitate to murder him in his tent before he could even reach for his gun.

That story reminded me of the Bells Canyon story since they both involve someone hiking alone for multiple days in the woods knowing that they're being followed.

Been watching Mr.Nightmare since I was 18 years old. I’m 26 now and I’ve noticed other UA-camrs have started making similar videos like this telling voiceover scary stories but nothing beats The OG Mr.Nightmare!
This by far is one of the scariest videos Mr Nightmare uploaded. I’m so frustrated that Griffins gun in the 3rd story wasn’t loaded. Woudlve been a completely different outcome
What makes the first one even more terrifying is that they basically got upgrades with those tools and can do waaayyy more damage to OP and his home. Whatever those things are, he better hope they moved on somewhere else.

In a day and age where security cameras with night vision, motion sensor lights and alarms exist, why be worried for years and not get prepared?
The third story is so scary 😨. The narration in this video was great. Some of his best work. Maybe his best yet.
6:02 for anyone that says “I didn’t call the police because I didn’t have any evidence to catch them” you should still call the police and file a report so that there is documentation. If that person would have went to another house and killed somebody, it would help with putting together a timeline.
Plus, don't the footprints count as evidence? At least of where they might've went.
@ well.. they’re evidence of someone walking through there, but not evidence that they could actually use (like making a mold of the footprint)

Listening to Mr Nightmare stops my racing mind from overthinking.......his calm voice at the start of every narrative.....eg...l was driving down a lonely road...I'm hooked and instantly calmed and on the edge of my seat at the same time
Story 1: Install cameras. D'uh. Possibly do a tall fence around some of the property to protect house and shed.
Story 3: Always have your gun loaded when you're camping in the middle of nowhere (this is just something we always do) and don't go out 'blind.'

Cops aren't always reliable, and either be helpful or useless depending on the department or the people in question, y'all expect too much from the pigs and it's ridiculous.

Story 1: The footprints aren't the worst thing, the worst is not knowing what other times they've been walking around your house when there isn't any snow. Also, get some dogs and cameras man! It might not stop them but the dogs will probably let you know when they come AND the cameras will let you get a good look at them.
Story 2: 1 more reason to add to the already long list of reasons why I will never go camping ALONE.
Story 3: I was so creeped out by the first 2 that this one just took me out. Humans really are the most dangerous thing out there.
I have been watching mr nightmare since I was 16, I am almost 24 now!!! I love this channel. I fall asleep to mr nightmare every day, I listen to it on my way to work in my headphones. That first story is so crrrpy?!!

I know what he means, but it bears mentioning that the problem isn't being alone: it's that you might NOT be.

I’ve been watching since I was in 5th grade. When I’ve been stressed I would watch your videos and it would calm me down (even tho they’re horror) I’m in college now and I still do the exact same thing
