    It is a fungus that grows on the outside of the fish. It can grow on their scales, fins, mouth, etc. It is pretty severe on some fish. It is in most of the lakes in northeast Texas and northwest Louisiana, including but not limited to LOP, Lake Fork, and Lake Cypress Springs. I see it on Toledo Bend a lot.
    Love to watch your videos. Glad you got to make it down to my neck of the woods.

      During the cold season Between Johnson Creek and the Dam will be full of boats. Either main lake or just To the right of Johnson Creek in the timber. Once the fish start moving in spring Hwy 155 Bridge will be full of boats

    Bruise is likely boat rash.....boat flipping fish on carpet, then throwing it back with the slimecoat removed. Seen it for years on Fork with bass, and now starting to see it more often with crappie.

    do you have to quit fishing after you catch your 25?

    • @3poundCrappiefishing

      for crappie yes

    • @tfisadog5260
      @tfisadog5260 3 роки тому

      Limit is 25 and from Nov. sometime to End of Feb you have to keep all Crappie due to them coming up from the deep water they will not survive release. Only a few lakes down here have that regulation of keeping fish.
