I am going to visit this place the next time I'm in Jamaica. Happy to see they are holding on to their tradition, and not adopting to the European brainwash.
Congratulations Richard! Keep the culture alive. I would love to see all of Jamaica adopt maroon values - I think it could be the solution to many of Jamaicas problems .
Any property for sale in accompong town.. Now I can see a return back to my country. Not under Holness administration (sell out). My ancestors are maroon.
@@karmarfrazer1427 I beg to differ! What I will agree with you on, is that descendants of the Maroons have intermingled and cohabited with other former slaves in such a way that it's difficult to differentiate the Original Maroons from other freed slave descendants. Don't forget that the Original Maroons were working with the slave masters. They captured other runaway slaves and returned them to the slave masters.
@@greatbill9106 that's so true, no treaty should be honoured with any sell outs and the queen of England but the truth is "our government" are also sellouts that work for the queen, and I'm not saying this because of the type of government or the oaths they have I'm speaking from the position of knowing that so called "Jamaica" is a British corporation and so called Jamaicans are the human resources or the property of this corporation and can never be free people as jamaicans.
These people sound like when election a call lol. This country really need strong minded leaders who are patient and can help to re-teach these dependent and lost people of our nation how to be self reliant and strong willed. You people come on TV sounding too dependent. No man can do for you what you can do for yourself. A man can only help and that's where the problem lies. Jamaicans don't know how to ask for help. Don't know how to present ourselves detailing the kinda of help needed. So handout is the reward. Curry seem to be the one who can pass on this in an understanding nature. He is all over the place with artiste, government officials, prominent people etc. Just hope he the 48 LAW don't become a chess piece in the mix. LA. Lewis is too gimmicky. He will see this as an opportunity to clout and cap.
