- This scene is from netflix new series "Queens Gambit" 's last episode before the finale game Beth versus Borgov.
I don't own this footage, so every rights goes to netflix.
This scene Made me cry,she finally has a family
@@joselder6495 That's not true, Benny and Harry tried to help her when she was drinking way too much
Talking as a man...I was a f’ing baby sobbing
@@donovanmartin7946 great!
@@donovanmartin7946 when she saw the montage that Mr. Shaibel made had me sobbing
Me too!! I rarely cry with watching movies or series but damn it. This scene had me buckling up.
Remember that time when Benny was talking about how Americans do things individually and that teamwork was important to win? It finally happened. Great, inspiring scene.
Exactly!😊
i was emotional during this scene,,,
Yes, definitely remembered that when this scene came up!
That's what I adore about this scene. It shows that we don't have to destroy ourselves to work towards collective goals. It doesn't have to be all or nothing. We can work collectively while maintaining a sense of individuality. We have so many problems to solve in our world. It's time to put down the debate and work for the benefit of each other just enough so we can solve the rest of our issues.
Teamwork with Angels. 🥲😇🦋🌈✨
LOL Benny immediately starts talking about Chess... doesn't even say hello.
That's the exact line from the book, except it was only benny, wexler and levertov who help beth
lol that is so like benny
Phone bill is expensive lol time is money
He paid for that phone call :D
International calls were HUGELY expensive back then! And they had to get the different plays and scenarios to her asap. I get why Benny went straight to it. Plenty of time for fluffy chats when Beth gets back home! 🖤♟🤍♟🖤♟🤍
My favorite scenes:
1. When Beth sees the photos Mr Shaibel kept of her victories
2. When Jolene came to visit
3. “Do you still like my hair?” (I mean come on)
4. When she’s is congratulated by Luchenko
5. This scene
6. When she plays with the old men in the park
For me I would add: When she sees the chess on the ceiling for the first time in her life when she's sober during her final game with Borgov.
Omg yes😍
“It’s your game, take it”
@@nrannia this is up there for me. I especially liked that Borgov lost, but he was still proud of her.
I also like the part when she wins and the boys cheer for her, “SHE WON!”
The way beth says "benny"🥺
The way she reacts to Harry is much more emotional and loving
@@Rafael-xt1nm Because they had a misunderstanding earlier.
@@kannachan740 Maybe that's why, but I also noticed her face brightened up after Benny had finished mentioning the first move, then said he was passing it back to Harry. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it was almost like she was much more excited to listen to Harry.
@@Rafael-xt1nm I agree
@@Rafael-xt1nm I agree they really got me
it's basically the scene from Avengers Endgame where they all come through the portals
The funny thing is that this episode's title is "End game".
I said the same thing.
Beth: Hello?
Benny: On your left.
I thought the same thing when I watched it! A total Avengers Assemble moment!
LMAO
I actually love how this ended. I don't think I want a second season of this. It's perfect how it is.
As much as I would definitely watch it, there's not need for it. It ended perfectly.
Yeah this is enough for us to see .
I totally agree with this, but I just wish it was more clear who she ended up with.
@@hollylapierre1885 nah i disagree, I didn’t really ship her with anyone on the show, as I felt it that she being finally able to love herself was more important that any dude she could’ve ended up with
@@superjerry3233 your not wrong. But It would just be nice to know 😕
Avengers assembled
endgame
I said the same exact thing when I saw this scene. Just beautiful
This show does have some superheroes moments lol. Beth is like a mutant after taking too many pills 😂
@@ClearHeatVision the chess avengers
HELL YES.
"You know why they're the best players in the world? It's because they play together as a team, specially during adjournments. They help each other out. Us Americans, we work alone because we're all such individualists. We don't like to let anyone help us."
Bobby Fisher destroyed Russians
@@franciscoespejo767Bobby Fisher was also a conceded racist who used psychological tactics to throw off his opponents. Similar to what Beth does throughout the show.
I like how Benny didn't say hi he just went straight in the work. Really made the scene different
Harry always wanted the best for her :(
So much emotion in her voice when she hears him talk..
He has always been her voice of reason, I adore that character so much.
It’s always bugged me that he’s a contributor in this scene. I know he means well but he’s just not good enough to be evaluating lines at the grandmaster level
Ah, Beth's harem.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was happy but also kinda creeped out because all her EXes with whom she all slept werr assembled... uuuuhm....

Queens Gambit: Isekai edition
@@littlemaidofthemoon9978 she slept with the twins?
this is my favorite scene
So nice to hear that! I like this scene too..
I cheered.
Most wholesome scene in the show 😭 Beth did have an underlying fear of being alone. She was never alone 👍
I hope one day to have firends I can call family
This scene and the one where Jolene offered Beth the money she needed to fly to Moscow are my favorites in the whole series. 💙
What makes this scene so good, besides the obvious love and found family and just the sweetness of the boys helping her, is that Beth actually listens and takes their advice. The entire series she's been stubborn and she never wants to admit she needs help but now she does & that's her growth. She not only found love, she accepts it
The whole scene was FABULOUS for me! Seeing her waking up with the coffee made by the man she loves and getting called by her actual friends who were kinda angry to her before... it all was amazing. And made me cry out of happiness. Perfection.
I think she doesn't love Townes anymore tho. Not in a romantic way at least.
@@yasmeenrashid4106 At least they left the point of end to the audience. It even doesn't matter cuz the main theme is chess and her. Accordingly they don't say who she's gonna be with. But I think there's something between them, more than friendship or someone she cares about.
@@mrslundy1535 but they kinda confirmed he's gay.... It kinda goes the same way in the book too..
@@yasmeenrashid4106 and in the book she ends up with Benny

I’m absolutely in love with this show. So refreshing to see Russians portrayed as normal people without all the propaganda bs that Americans love to put into movies about Russians. Fantastic work!!
gotta remember it was cold war time.
It was the Cold War. And Americans weren't exactly portrayed as heroes in Soviet films. It went both ways.
if only Mr. Shaibel were there to see her win...
I’m sure he gets to watch her from up there in the heavens.
I always loved her friendship with Matt and Mike, a true friendship based on respect and appreciation. I loved how much of a good time they had in Mexico.
Teamwork > Fighting alone. It's great to see Beth getting so much supports.
This scene is Beth, the Queen, realizing she’s not alone as her men (fellow chess pieces on her side) support her. The former US Champion Benny is her side’s king (notice he no longer wears his hat/crown once she beats him), Harry and Townes are her knights, and the twins are either her bishops or rooks (the framing of the shot when they’re at the table suggests rooks), and the additional two men on the phone call then are the other last two pieces. The shot of the men at the table and how they are positioned with the twins at the ends and the king in the middle is subtly emphasized as being similar to the layout of chess pieces with the chess set on the table to reflect this symbolism. So now the men/pieces on her side tell their queen how much they love her and are proud of her (literally they tell her in the call that) and to finally go off to victory to defeat the opposing king, Borgov.
Great comment man
Love this mate
"Go my simps"
so true benny king
@@yolo12345lol Never heard of those kinds of pieces
This scene got me smiling *and* crying from ear to ear
This made me cry! She wasn't alone in this. She didn't had to be alone.
Nobody talks about these Robert De Niro Twins in the series
Underrated. :(
I thought they looked more like Joseph Gordon-Levitt lol
Are those the 2 identical guys that Mrs. Wheatley said "I can't decide which is cuter?"
@@strugglingcollegestudent yup
Lmao , 😅 i knew it know ... Thx u it's been on my mind
what a queen Beth was, all of her exe's had a support group chat
1:00 her voice when she hears Benny was so pure and full of happiness for the support. These are the friends you need in your life.
I love that scene I also love the fact that these guys are simply not on the same level as Borgrov and the other Russians, so while they could foresee some lines, they could not really anticipate everything Borgrov was going to do - which proved to be the case.
Sometimes books are so amazing but not too many people read them. When amazing movies or series are made respecting and honoring those books, we can watch masterpieces such as this astonishing series that really come to our hearts and minds. I just loved the series and enjoyed the book much more than I expected.
True. The book makes so much more sense about beth and benny's relationship. Especially when he was the one who helped to put a team with wexler and levertov. But i can't deny the emotions during this scene to see all of her friends helping her together
I keep repeating this part, because all of her opponents are teaming up against her, thinking of a way to take her down but she doesn’t have anyone to strategise with she strategies it herself. Seeing how all of her friends were strategising all the time and gave her a call in this final battle made me emotional.. From an orphan who played alone all this time, now she played along with her friends. I love this series so much.
It's a lovely scene for sure. Her friends were there for her when she needed them the most, which was unexpected. These were individual friendships that could have fallen by the way side due to differing circumstances but they rallied around and provided support.
I like the fact that Beth won by her own genius though after the strategy went south.
Whenever i see Harry, i always feel sorrow and sad softly :(((( oh my bro , you're so good in this miniseries, i hope to see him on many other movies in the future , he so underrated in 3 boys
This was hands down the most emotional scene for me... especially when Benny handed the phone to Harry... CRY ME A RIVER BLUE!!!
This was my favorite scene during the whole show. When the phone got passed around one by one, you could hear the joy from her voice. Her smile was absolutely radiating🥺
Who says chess is one man game.... Its team game thats why Russians are on top coz they work as a unit... This scene was one the best in series...QG OP
Edit - thank you for the likes.. didnt expect that coming ❤️
You are soooo right.... Team game is what you need to become one of the best in the world.
Exactly. We should take a leaf from their book. I think that's one of the themes of the show - together is better.
“We’re so proud of you!” When I tell you I cried, she finally has what she didn’t know she needed.
benny looked so good here
Benny looked so good in the full season ❤❤❤❤❤
He's the kid from Love actually
@@SunnyPickles92 wtf? really?

hands down the best scene. i haven’t stopped crying since i saw it haha
Maybe the pills are the friends we made along the way
This was one my favorite scenes from the entire show ❤️ I love the way they all came together to help her, so that way she wouldn't have to do it alone
Love this scene!! So wonderful to know a group of people’s backing you up
This scene was the sweetest
THE BEST SCENE OUT OF THE SERIES
It was hard not to cry at this scene, especially hearing the catch in Beth’s voice, the pure amount of relief and joy she was feeling here.
It is one of the two of my favorite scenes from the show. I loved the mellow ending of the series, the way they resolved the conflict. I loved it wasn't edgy, but wholesome. And I like to think Beth and Harry got together in the end, too.
benny and beth had way better chemistry LUL
Out of the three main guys, Harry, Townes and Benny, Beth/Harry is my least favourite pairing. They are very good friends, but there's no spark there. Beth needs to be with someone who loves chess as much as she does, and Harry simply doesn't. I like both Beth/Townes and Beth/Benny.
prefer Benny lmao
@@bellsssbooo benny was a narcissist who never loved Beth. He just loved her chess brilliance and sexually. Harry was the only one who was truly in love with Beth, and the only one who told her the truth. Like most girls today, they go for the bad boys, only to regret not pursuing the guys who loved them and were much more compatible long term.
@@Rafael-xt1nm benny genuinely cared for her and was worried for her, narcissist don't care for anyone but themselves and benny has none of those traits. yea he had a big ego but it's nothing compared to narcissism, an ACTUAL disorder. he cared for her well-being and was worried for her alcohol addiction as well. yea sure harry worried about her addiction to librium but the point is they both cared for her. benny and beth just related more and had way better chemistry, they had real connection as opposed to harry and beth. all i saw between the two was unrequited love.
In the book she fell in love with Benny. (Maybe not in so many words ). And it was him she missed in Russia. She wanted him there, no one else, in the book Harry and Townes aren’t ever heard from again after we see them last. It’s Benny she wants to talk and make love to.
I love beth and harry 🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️
This warmed my heart so much showing how Beth had all these impactful men in her life who she can call friends and family. I loved the development of how she was alone to her having a whole team I almost balled at this scene
I love Townes in this scene. Does absolutely everything he can to make sure Beth is ready and doesn't act as a distraction. There's something to be said for being instrumental in a person's success while simultaneously flying under the radar.
I love that they helped her, I love that she went into her last day feeling less alone, but I also love that at the end of the day she had to win based on her own talents when Borgov did something they hadn't thought of.
I very rarely cry during shows/movies but this scene made me weep lol
I love how Beth has her own harem. She is like a main anime character lol
harry 🥺
This scene made me smile and warmed my heart so much
I am still wondering how th Benny spent his prize money.
i think he just didn’t want to lend her the money so he said he didn’t have it
@@sourandcream i think it was more than not wanting to, i think that he didn’t want to feel used, because he had feelings for her & she hurt him by not reaching out
@@EmilySmith-lk5mz kinda true, but also in the book, he gambles his money. so it could be because he lost his money😂😂😂
They showed only by Benny that he was putting money on the table when playing chess in ^private^. So... seems like this would have been typical for his behaviour...
He paid car fines xr
The finale is full of cheesiness and I absolutely love it.
I love the way she says “Benny?”
This scene and the part where she sees mr shaibel's wall makes me sob so hard this show had no business making me cry like that
Binging the entire show in one rainy day was not good for my mental health but then this scene came and it was all worth it
Benny : Assemble!!
This scene always makes me cry. I know how amazing it can be to feel the support of your friends, of your village. I'm a sucker for found families
I love Benny’s reaction and how the rest of the friends didnt really need a word to know that She won
This scene really shows how your true friends can really be your family. Like anyone struggling with substance abuse or mental health, you try SO HARD to push people away, either by ghosting them, insulting them, or being incredibly selfish. They saw the barriers she was placing and knew she needed a support system.
Loved this scene! Made me cry
Love, humility, friendship
Burgov: "it's your game, take it" then hugging Beth... it gets me every time.
As the famous adage goes, "teamwork makes the dream work".
Awesome .....never saw this one....Beth has a TEAM 😊❤
Finally The best scenes...which was unexpected
this was my favorite scene that's what happens when you have good friends!
i lovd harry ,for me he is the best wish i have some friend like him
Me and my mom cried at this scene. Best series of the year
Beth uses the power of friendship to defeat the final boss
If anyone has seen "Akeelah and the Bee" this reminded me so much of her whole community helping her practice. It's such a nice feeling watching a character you care about realize they aren't as alone as they feel.
They had to make the actor of Benny look older in this 😂
I think the big reason she was so happy to hear from Benny was because last time they spoke he told her to never call him again. She thought she'd never see or hear him again.
One of the best scenes in the show, easily
My absolute favorite scene in the entire series!
This will always be an emotional scene for me. I cried the first time, and it does make me cry still every time I come visit to watch.
I LOVED this part. When all her former competitors came together to help her. This was great 💕
this was so good.....one of the best things I've seen in recent years....
1:00 "You Are Not Alone" from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow starts to play in my head
So wholesome, Benny honoring his time talking about playing like a team to win, it shows how even if you're a individual sport player yet you have a team in other players.
Also I can't stop thinking that Townes was in sync with Benny and they come up with this to support her.
Excuse me for crying
This scene gave me teary eyes and goosebumps. What a magnificent series.
One of the best scenes from the show
The power of real friendship is a really strong bond, that helps to overcome difficult situations. If it seems that you don't have the power to do it alone you are a really lucky one if you have got real friends. Beth is so tired at this moment, but she has the possibility to see that she is not alone at this point. Her friends tought and played for her all possibilities of the chess game during her sleeping. They offer her ways to go and she can think this ways over to deside her own. Brilliant Scene. What Borgov and Luchenko tried, she could do too. ;-)
I LOVE GENUINE FRIENDSHIP ON TELEVISION. I LOVE PLATONIC AFFECTION. AND I LOVE THIS DAMN SHOW
That's the best Netflix movie. No surprise I watched all episodes one by one al night and half of the day. Just started it. Good it was a weekend.
Hands down the best part of this entire story. Even though she pushed people away, she found her family and her people. 😢😅
