This is my take on the daily vlog concept.
Everyday I upload a 4 minute vlog, shot 4 minutes after the day before.
There’s no editing, no re-takes and no music over-dubs and they always finish right on the 4 minute mark, no exceptions.

Id recommend a Dakine or FCS. Your leashes shouldnt be snapping like that, but it does happen occasionally. Youd be surprised what 4-5ft waves can do to a board and other gear.
Unfortunately Busted Surf Co only stock the O&E range :( I mean I would be happy to hook up a leg rope sponsor... :)

I'm here because my O&E heavy SUP leash is snapped a the same spot. Granted I had it for a while but I don't surf much. Swivel is fine, cord looks new and this happened :( Disappointing. I always thought that this leash was beefy in all components...

Perhaps you where 5 minutes away from a shark attack? Just saying that you dont know what the silver lining could be? But you also said that the leash was used for all of january and that is only one month. I am sure that Ocean earth would warranty that fault in the leash. Also since u asked, yes i have snapped leashes when i did not expect and now I never go to the beach with out two leashes. We never know what happens to the leash from the forces of the ocean day of or days before. Be prepared and check your equipment on the regular. Hope you got sorted and all is positive for you now!

One positive, you now know not to buy that brand of leash.
In 12 months? I also think it's odd that the sun would ruin it that much that quickly. You know what tho, Busted Surf Co only stock O&E brand!! Damn!!
Anyway you can sort of jury rig it until you can get another one from another company?
