Once you eat sushi and sashimi in Japan, you’re spoiled for sushi anywhere else in the world. It’s so clean and pure, and the rice is so soft. The best.

Omakase is best experienced dine in because they will make it fresh and serve piece by piece immediately and explain each piece to you, the sushi also comes pre sauced with the perfect amount of soy sauce by the chef. There’s a place down in roppongi called tokyo sushi ten, they serve like 20 varieties of nigiri and a few cooked dishes. I never had omakase before and always thought omakase was like a few hundred dollar meal where you never get full, but in this place which was my first experience you’ll be so full you get food coma towards the 2nd half of your meal and it was like 70 or 80 bucks for the entire experience. Of course every piece was a hit.
i dont think i had one bad meal in japan.. maybe one time i had ubereats and it smelt great but it tasted bland( pork bowl).. other then that, EVERYthing was fresh and so good. Dont forget to try GoGos curry Ben, "world champ" cant go wrong 🙌
