@@garbo_supreme nah, once you get decent at striking it's pretty easy to hit someone. But when you're new it's almost guaranteed for you to miss every hit.

This video so beautifully encompasses that surreal feeling of connecting with a silent random stranger in an online game. When you can't see or hear the person on the other side, but can only read their character's moves to communicate with them, then you notice them reciprocating your own character's movements.. it's almost magical.

Eh. I've heard it both ways so many times I don't really care. What bothered me more was how horrendously that guy played as him. I don't know if he was messing around or what, but he brought shame to the legacy of the Stone Pitbull with that performance.

Yeah, I played for a few days actually. It's just not good. The controls are wack, the hit detection is garbage, it LOOKS like shit, and it's $30. I've played games that were completely free that looked and played better than this steaming pile of dog shit.

Ishii deserves better
As a wrestling fan myself, I always love it whenever the Grumps play a wrestling game, even if they don't know the wrestling or anything else about it. I'd love to see them play WWE All-Stars. It's basically an over-the-top wrestling game on steroids (both figuratively and literally) with combos, high jumping anime shit, and a hilariously in-depth character creator. It's highly regarded to be one of the last WWE games to actually be fun, before 2K bought the license and started making it more about simulating real life as much as possible (and All-Stars came out in *2011.* )
Fire Pro is a great game if you actually take time to learn the controls. It really upsets me knowing this is probably gonna make the game look like shit to people seeing it for the first time since Arin didn't know what he was doing
TheDylan217 I'm glad that players of the game are speaking up. People who immediately dismiss a game because GG made fun of it are likely not the best judges for quality, otherwise they probably would have heeded the words of actual game reviewers like ProJared or Yahtzee Croshaw (etc.), or researched the game for themselves. Isn't that what this wrestling game is famous for too? The need to study the moves in order to execute them in play? You probably didn't lose a played who would have lasted long if they were too lazy to check it themselves.
Pretty sure anyone that watches GG regularly or has even heard of them knows they're memelords and garbage at video games. If people want an actual assessment of something they'll look up a few reviews (I would hope).
Even if you just look up a top 10 list of wrestling games some iteration of Fire Pro is invariably going to be there

Also it's kinda dickish that Dan is mocking the other player for not knowing how to play when Arin clearly has no fucking clue of what he's doing, and neither is Dan himself. This game is notoriously deep with a buttload of tools and moves and things you can do and it is legit overwhelming when you're just starting.

I believe the character in the game is not official yet, that's an user created character (there are thousands); and the game, the series, is very highly regarded among wrestling fans and wrestlers themselves.

This game actually has a huge following. The series has been going on for decades. The game is actually sort of fun and looks cool if you get two people who know how to play it. Its def not a pickup and play button masher.
