Apparently water means just the sea, disappointed to not see any river themed levels.
Or any other theme related to water, like fountains/pools etc. Would be so cool if the final level was the backrooms pool rooms.
I think the new gauntlets lack a sense of progression, both in terms of theme and difficulty. The last level is clearly easier than the fourth, and doesn't feel like a fitting finale.
