It’s like I couldn’t feel any of the feelings (joy, happy, cozy, comfort, peace) that I always felt while watching. It happens with other things too. Just like… numb. Im the youngest of 3, but my sisters are teasing that it’s pre-premenopaus💀I don’t know, but the last week or so Stella has her groove back so it’s wonderful to catch up with you!! My favorite bricks are Sweet Orange Pomander and Blue Christmas. I agree that pre-chopping and keeping in a drawer nearby really helps me use them up. I have an Olaf brick which I thought was so light but this month it did really well in my bedroom! Thanks for sharing!
Maraschino Sugar Cookie is a favorite! Oh it’s so yummy. Salted Caramel Cider was the only Christmas release brick that I liked but it is delicious too! I just love bricks. I find that if I take a row out of the package, microwave it for about 25 seconds- it chops so smoothly with no crumbling. Makes it much easier and less mess. You’ve made some good progress!

Sometimes I find the same thing, so I put them in my main space. That helps deplete them a bit faster. I think the key is to plan them into your melting routine, otherwise they get overlooked.
Oh I love Maraschino Sugar Cookie! I had never tried it until I got the brick in the Flash Sale. I hope it comes back at some point 🍒 I also live Holly Jolly Cider & Wrapped in Lights - that one is in my club! So fun to see what you’ve been warming! Ty 😍

Sugar Cookie - I’m glad I can get it in a brick since I go through so much! I also have 2 bars in my club, just in case they ever pull the brick. I’m super close to finishing Candy Cane Wishes and Maraschino Sugar Cookie, and that will feel so good! I think I also need to be mixing my Caramel Chestnut with VBB because I’m like you….sometimes it’s amazing, sometimes it’s meh. So I don’t warm it because I’m worried about meh days….but VBB should be able to smooth those out for me!
That’s funny you’re the same way as me about Caramel Chestnut. Obviously Sugar Cookie and Whipped Frosting would also be great mixing options with it as well.
I am generally not a fan of the pine scents but your review of Christmas Tree caused me to put a bar in my club - I actually do like it but it is light. I will leave it in my quarterly club and try it again next Christmas. Thanks for the brick update!!!
I fear that the club “bar size instead of brick” for brick releases has caused brick sales to go down. Even though that’s a nice perk for sure! Then they don’t sell as many bricks, and that deters them from bringing more out. It would be fun to add a brick scent to the Easter Collection. Maybe pick a well loved past scent like pink Haze.
I’m with you on Maraschino Sugar Cookie. I did get a brick in a flash sale bundle & I’m having a hard time warming through it. I did pair it with Cherry Clove Chutney when I warmed the upcoming BBMBs. It was ok with that (separate warmers). I find it ‘doesn’t play well’ with most other scents & I don’t want to just warm it alone it’s too cloying. I love Caramel Chestnut & I’m using up a brick now. I do have that in my club. I finished a few bricks - Holly Jolly Cider from last year, Spiced Eggnog yum also a club bar & Christmas Cottage. I always select Sugar Cookie or Welcome Home as my half off item in club when I need them. Love both. I didn’t get this year’s holiday bricks just tried them in bar size. I stuck Salted Caramel Cider into my club but just to get a few more.
I finished up Crimson Berry Christmas, Wrapped in Lights, and Fluffy Fleece over the last couple of months. I really can’t express how much I dislike the Christmas Tree shapes, they are such a pain and I hope we can get back to normal ones next year. Over the next couple of months, I’ll be working on blizzard berry, Arctic kiss, vanilla bean buttercream, butterscotch brittle (also not a fan) and baked apple pie.
I think the trees look cute, and you can melt through them faster because they are smaller, but that’s where the positives end for me. I prefer the traditional shape by far. Plus less wax for the same $$? That’s not right
I've learned my lesson on bricks and get the bar size in club first to try before I commit to a full size. Butterscotch Brittle was a hard no for me. It was weird. Wish I'd gotten Christmas Tree in a brick before it sold out, but that's ok. I clubbed it. I liked that it was on the lighter side. I like some tree scents, but they are usually too strong. Christmas Tree was just right. Love Wrapped in Lights and Warm Winter Night. Still have some left in the bricks but clubbed one bar each quarterly anyway. Warm Winter Night will be a January and February scent for me. Salted Caramel Cider was STRONG. Not sure if I'm going to club. Christmas Cottage is still my favorite Christmas scent. Still have my brick from last year but I'll still club it when the new catalog comes out.

Warm Winter Night is a great scent….I am really enjoying that brick…almost done it and added it to my club. I love Sugar Cookie and have it in brick only… such a good one to have on hand. You definitely made some progress on those bricks!
I picked fewer bricks for this upcoming round since it was a lot of bricks for me the last 3 months. Warm Winter Night stands a chance at coming to catalog for FW next year. At least from feedback. Not sure about sales.

@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes Yes, that's true. I feel the same way about Blue Christmas and many Christmas scents that have a combination of orange and pine/fir; somehow my nose misreads them as soapy. Homestead Holiday is the worst. I haven't mixed Caramel Chestnut yet, I always melt it on its own. However, I think your mix with Vanilla Bean Buttercream sounds fantastic and I'll definitely try it! Do you think that Caramel Chestnut is similar to Cinnamon Woods? I find them both very similar.

I actually finished a brick cube this season 😂 worked on cozy kitchen a little bit. I want to work on candy apple as well. My goal is to finish off a brick this year but I don’t ever warm them so….we shall see
Do you pre chop them? Maybe warm them on holidays or paydays or unexpected days off. You don’t get snow days where you are but maybe try to associate brick warmings with a set day. Example - my friend warms bricks on any wax melt challenge day that is a “free melt” day. You just need to find your own prompt that reminds you.
Love brick talk 🥰 I wish they offered scents in bricks in club that are not in the catalog- I would get a club just for that reason 😂 can you imagine certain LTO scents or discontinued scents in bricks as club exclusives? 🤞🥰 I guess the majority of people don’t love the bricks because they stopped making the spring/summer ones 😢
I always say the top spot for votes in each BBMB round should get a 6 month spotlight in club as a brick scent. For example…if Banana Nut Bread was first in votes we should get it in club from January when it debuts until its “reign” ends when the next round is available for purchase July 1st. Talk about a fun switch up for club!

If you never hear of a combo in “real life food situations” then the brick combo might not work either (cough cough / butterscotch Brittle / cough cough) Silver Bells might be an exception because that one sounds bizarre by the notes but its execution was A+ imo
i really dont like olaf warm hugs and silver bells, they are just toothpaste for me😮 i like cranberry & tinsel, maraschino sugar cookie and sweet orange pomander😊

25 seconds seems like a lot for my microwave but I’ll keep that in mind to try (maybe start with 15sec)

On cold I thought I’d love the scents of the season eggnog but when I warmed it it was so chemical! I took it right out. Spiced is much better!
