2021 Chevy Tahoe Front Bumper Removal Instructions & Tips

this video is not a removal but an instructions guide to remove it. there's about 30 bolts total to remove it and took me about 20 mins to remove. its not as hard or intimidating as it may seem! I beat around the bush for hours to try and install grill lights before I was defeated and decided to just pull it.

Now I find this video…..after the bumper was removed….video I did watch did not use flashlight for the inner fender bolts. Thx!!

How much does a a replacement bumper cost?

Good video thanks. I just did one of these and there are two of those alignment blocks. Torx 3&4 from each side. Otherwise very helpful. No biggie if you take them off..just reattach before you replace bumper cover. ..on a side note have you found a good 12 volt switched source or RAP on this model year?

Quick question - I am going to replace the chrome front fascia/valence not the full bumper - does that just pop out or do you know by chance?

@@brandonmcclelland4359 I replaced it a few weeks ago, you have to unscrew all the screws under that front bumper to get access and pop the plastic pieces out of the valence.

I honestly have no clue. Im an upfitter and was pulling the bumper to add emergency lighting.

sorry for the late reply but where i live the 2023 and up tahoe, yukon, suburban, and yukon xl all have the z71 style raised bumper for the LS, LT, SLE, and SLT 4wd trims and the regular bumper for 2wd trims. I hope this helps answer your question
