Fun fact: that sound originated from the rocket wheelchair from Lsplash’s other game Ragdoll Universe, and that sound is used when pushing minecarts

It's sad that something like this is considered a "huge" leak. Any slightly bigger leak than those we get tons of is considered big, and it's no wonder! We have literally gotten so few teasers from the actual developers that I and many others are scared that floor 2 maybe isn't that close to releasing in reality. I'm not angry at the game or any of it's wonderful developers, I'm just sad that we need to resort to looking at leaks to keep caring about the game :(
That being said, they did say something about a summer release date so I'm not hopeless yet.
They never stated it would release on summer I believe

so a few days before, there were a few images leaked, the mines logo and a doors hotel window image. i think that hints there will be windows in the mines (idk why) and that "banging" is actually thunder from the window.
no, the window has nothing to do with the mines. it has its own background in another image.

The boom is probably just thunder. Because, if you couldn't tell, it thunders in doors floor 1.
Or it could be ambiance, like a boulder falling in the distance or something.
Its easy, its just an ambiance song like floor one when u hear foot steps and doors knocking its exactly this but more scary
Sounds DEFINITELY like audio of a cutscene, perhaps instead of playing each audio individually in the game, LSPLASH probably made it only play this sound to reduce memory costs.
i think when you said possible door opening i think it may actually be it, but now the loud booming is what @SamMoizan said on his comment, maybe it is for a ambience sound, or it may be a bandage sound effect or something? idk that's just my theory, because after the *creak* it looked like a bandage sound, idk that's my theory
