One of my favourite hobbies for autumn is baking! Apple pie, pumpkin pie, jams, cookies, all that good stuff. It is also fun to make your own tea melanges with a nice base tea (black, green, honey bush) and adding dried fruits or spices to taste
I like baking, but only have tried a few difference recipes! I love apple pie or apple crisp in the fall, and would like to try other pies! Fun tea would be new to me, too! Thanks for the suggestions 😊
I think a fun (and cheap!) craft to try is to keep a “crow journal” and collage/scrapbook your memories . I do one page every month and it’s really fun to look back on
You're literally like the 4th crafter that I've watched the last 2 days that had several "fails" if that makes you feel any better/less annoyed lol. Also your music choices for this were 😗🤌🏻
We fail together 🙌 thanks so much for watching! I had to use a new program to edit, which mean finding all new music, so I am super happy it was pleasant music! 😊
you have motivated me to try collage. I love that you went through and showed everything, least favorite and most favorite, and why. I think they all look pretty cool and it looks like a really fun craft.
i love watching your videos while i work!! but i’m usually crocheting a lot however i’ve recently bought a paint by number and it’s so fun!! also pickleball is also really really fun!!
Ohhhh the thicket stitch is what I did for my cat couch and I never knew what it was called! So thanks for that 🫶 I’m gonna be in the cities for a tattoo in like a month and I’m totally gonna go to the wing joint! Also I love all the collages but especially the women with flower faces. I’d frame that one! 😍
I usually crochet, I'm a newer sub though so I'm not sure I know the extent of crafts you have tried. I like to crochet, cross stitch and do plastic canvas, I have latch hooked before, I am trying to get better and knitting (I can knit but I can't seem to purl :p) I have also done needlepoint a few times as well. Needlepoint was the fastest, cross stitch was the slowest just due to their scale I think. I have also made my own candles and soaps and those were fun and super easy to do, definitely up for a try it once a week kind of thing. I did scrapbook when I was a kid, but not so much as an adult. I have made my own jewelry and done some coloring. It is definitely fun to try different crafts to give yourself a variety and if you didn't like one, hey that's okay there's a lot of them out there! (Also I am making a blanket with the thicket stitch and it is SO WARM and COZY
Thank you for the comment!! I am taking notes for some crafts to try 😊 also-- i totally feel your struggle with getting the sizing right. And its always disappointing to realize after some point that the garment is simply not going to fit right! I was being a bit dramatic by calling them all "failures" haha, I totally agree with what you said about frogging, and love that your husband has a positive attitude towards your crafting experiments!
An idea for the vest! You could embroider over it, add flowers or something simple
Oooo, I never would have thought of this! I havent touched the vest yet so I will definitel play around with this idea. Thank you!!
I'm a crafter of many but crochet and cross stitch are my favorite!
Ditto 😍
