Moses Concas - Intrecci (TRAILER)

Intrecci è un' opera dedicata a Maria Lai, storica artista e poeta sarda, e si prepone di dare un forte messaggio di incoraggiamento a tutta la comunità artistica. La generazione nella quale son cresciuto ci ha sempre un po' offuscato la "retta via" su come vivere e fare arte. I continui paragoni e competizioni nei quali la società ci ha lentamente insediato hanno colpito aspramente la nostra espressione artistica delle volte, incanalandola verso veri e propri burroni esistenziali. La scelta di scrivere questo pezzo nasce così dalla voglia liberare gli artisti dall'aspettativa e dal giudizio, e dar loro modo di credere nuovamente in se stessi e nella poesia della vita.

Intrecci is a work dedicated to Maria Lai, historic Sardinian artist and poet, and aims to give a strong message of encouragement to the entire artistic community. The generation in which I grew up has always somewhat obscured the "right path" on how to live and make art. The continuous comparisons and competitions in which society has slowly installed us have sometimes harshly affected our artistic expression, channeling it towards real existential ravines. The choice to write this piece was thus born from the desire to free artists from expectations and judgement, and give them the opportunity to believe in themselves and in the poetry of life again.

I realise you both have very different styles but you're both extremely skilled and have a passion for your instruments that would be incredible if you could make then work together. I do sincerely hope you try because it's not a combination most would think of and that is what would make it great.
