Everyone likes to talk about detail, yet doesn't even realize 2BDamned put an explosive charge behind his door to act as reactive armor. Counteracting the force of the rocket and keeping it mostly closed.
Doc hacked the communications device and told the rocket guy to switch to a frag round. Rocket guy thought it was his teams change of plan and nuked his own bois.
So it blasts *through* the door to counteract the rocket? That seems unnecessary and counter-intuitive, the door was blown in half anyway and the hole that was left is more than enough for someone to slip though. I think, instead of Reactive Armor, he placed that charge there as a back-up in case the Soldat on the cliff didn't follow his fake orders. Doc could just detonate the charge instead to eliminate most of them. But, it being Reactive Armor is still a possibility. If it's to stop the rocket and door shrapnel from destroying what's in the room, sure. Doc might also have been 100% certain that the Soldat would follow the orders because the AAHW likes to kill their own members every now and then, so he added that charge there for other purposes that isn't being a back-up.
>Cut to Doc stitching Hank up after episode 4. "-and then he's improbability drive went missing and the agent was never heard from again!" (Hank and Doc laugh) "-ahahaha...that's how I lost my medical license...)
That was weirdly funny to me, that a Soldat, normally kinda dim and fanatical, would take time to tape over a lens because it's annoying him. I guess I just expected them to have no f###s to give regarding little things like that

2BDamned's tactical mindset is very strong here. He takes advantage of the fact that Soldats aren't really able to adapt to surprises or willing to disobey what they assume are direct orders, boosts the collateral damage by planting a bomb to ensure no one close enough to the door walking away alive, removes any possibility of it backfiring if the plan backfired (either because he didn't look at the console, saw through the ruse, or the raid team moved in too fast) by sneaking out the back, picks off the last guy in the initial raid team in a way that ensures that he doesn't draw attention to himself until he's ready, fucking roasts the rocketeer through the hacked console while he's waiting for him to see what happened... and is STILL enough of a crackshot that he can land a bullet straight through a binocular lens, and probably waited for that to both rub the entire thing in AND because the shining yellow light gives him a nice target to aim for. Krinkles:He's not even a real doctor, why do people keep calling him 'Doc'? Fans:EEEHHH WASSUP DOC (Edit: I guess he caved in cause he calls him doc in madness 12 lol)
imagine if there was a madness combat side-story that focuses on the agency's point of view. just full of AAHW special operations like raiding traitors and some POV (not first person though) of the agents behind the main camera during the main events of madness #.
I'd like that tbh, since Project Nexus 2 features different enemy factions, there's potential for some animations featuring a squad of AAHW agents fighting against bandits, or mercenaries or the Nexus Core, etc. It'd be pretty dope.
I was confused at first, I thought they were working together, but then I remembered that the computer beeped for a second and I thought "WAIT, HE HACKED IT TO SABOTAGE THEM" I think Doc is going to be my new favourite character :D
The fact that you actually animated the VSS Vintorez bullet velocity and arch in your animation is fuckin awesome to me. Love that you didn't just treat it like a cool looking AK.
One of my favorite little gun detail moments was in, I think, sacrifice.fla. Where Deimos grabs the slide of a handgun while a soldat was trying to shoot him with it, preventing the gun from cycling a new bullet into the chamber. Then when Deimos picks it up, he racks the slide and chambers a new round before going into the next room. Krinkels puts a lot of love and effort into this series.
@@saint6519 I think my favorite part about weapons is the 8th series, where exactly every 6 shots from the revolver, Jebus reloaded it with ammunition stores special for the revolver.
At 0:32 Doc hacked their communications and told to the Soldat to frag the door because it will kill some of the escadron mens. At least the ATP engineer tried to show to the Soldat (on the cliff) to make an entrance by exploding the window but he didn't see anything...
It’s not, 2BDamned did not hacked the A.A.H.W. database, the A.A.H.W. thought the door can be opened then they tell the rocketer to shoot inside first then units engage to Hank’s old house.
@@acasualyoutuber3595 If they would have told him to frag the door, they wouldnt be sitting there and watching the rocket the door which would kill them. They thought the soldat would stun through the window which would break the planks
2bdamned got introduced 2 years ago and is already my favorite character and I think the whole reason why is because of him being more tactical than being a brute force like Hank Sanford, and Deimos. That just makes him a lot cooler for some reason
Saw Krinkels, never clicked so fast on a notification. Already know i'm in for a good one. Thanks for being a massive legend for more than a decade, Matt!
I still love the fact the Soldat stands there visibly confused for a solid moment, and they're just like "welp, one command says stun through window, other says high explosive through door...BLOWING SHIT UP IS MORE FUN, HURR HURR". And Doc was probably counting on the Soldat's love for explosives to help them make that choice.
@@barthvader95the AAHW seem to have a more orderly stance when dealing with any other intruder. But all that goes out of the ordinary once Hank is brought into the equation. They become almost obsessed with killing him. Whatever the Auditor programmed into them makes even the Nexus Core fear their fanaticism. Even their mag agents scream Hank in mpn.
“Hank doesn’t live here anymore” So either this is hell and where Hank stayed during deaths Or we’re in Nevada and the Dissenter actually revived Deimos And if it’s the latter it would explain Hank reviving offscreen

This is honestly starting to become my favorite side - story video out of this series. Everything is so well made! The "plot", the animation, The music, The sound effects. It's all put together perfectly
Noticed that a lot of people have mentioned that 2BDamnes hacked the Soldat’s monitor, but I haven’t seen anyone mention that at 0:40, you can see the exact message that he sends to the Soldat on the console in the bottom left corner.
The only other guy we see being "friendly" at deimos and sanford its the dude from the clothes shop, and he also gets wounded or stuned when the door explodes
Agenda: -Acting overwatch: Zones 2a and 3a -Stun bomb through window we need you to frag the door. it'll totally work :D *blows up half the team* -Agenda: -Lmfao -Dumbass Soldat SOS Dissaster
I love how this went from a guy getting mad over a boombox to some straight-up 1984 shit. Really shows how a creation can mature. Also can we talk about how one of those fuckers was carrying a silenced 9mm Beretta in one hand, and a *fucking Desert Eagle* with the other
Hey lemme bring a good ol fashioned silenced pistol to conceal the noise *of a rocket being sent into the door and the amount of gunfire from my other gun and my colleagues guns.*
Actually that's quite clever, because if there was more than one hostile in that house, they wouldn't be able to hear the silenced Beretta in the middle of a gunfight, so the hostiles might understimate the AAHW squad, and be caught off guard once they realise that the AAHW squad had a bit more firepower than what they had originally tought.
0:27 Just noticed that 2B changed the message to "We need you to frag the door, it'll totally work :D" and not that the Soldat was just stupid incompetent. Well, partially that the Soldat was stupid incompetent, but it was still a clever move by 2B
I’m pretty sure the soldat was concerned about what would’ve happened to him if his disobeyed what he tough was a “direct order” that he would gladly kill his friends over it. Well he stood there and though about it but still, auditor is cold
Well engineer pointed to soldat to attack windows but 2B hacked him and let's him shoting door and engineer was looking if 2B will come from behind its not engineer fault
This will be a good plot twist, if behind all Hank's armbands, there are black bullet (and not only) holes left after many resurrections like Dedmoss have.
I just realized that the message was hacked and sent to the Spicy Rocket man by no other than the defender himself. Always the small details is what gets me.
ima describe all the agency members' roles and their competence : grunts are not made for fighting, they are still training and therefore suck at fighting. agents are the main attackers and are in the front lines. they suck at fighting but sometimes can get overwhelming. engies are not specialized for fighting but are smarter. somewhat good at combat. soldats are the rarer but more skilled fighters, although they are kinda dumb at times. they are pretty skilled and also acrobatic. half mags act as some sort of support unit or mini tank for the aahw, also in the front lines willing to take bullets thanks to their high pain tolerance, but they are not as quick as regular agents. mags are the tank units of the aahw and are only sent out to deal with serious threats like hank. very slow but powerful.
Going back to this video, I really like how Doc is the most "realistic" Madness Combat protagonist so far. I mean, Hank, Sanford, Deimos ans Jebus are one-man armies who can destroy dozens if not *hundreds* of opponents in epic gunfights that would make Matrix look boring in comparison, but Doc only kills a couple of guys and relies on cunning and deception rather than brute force when he has to fight. That alone sets him apart from other MC protagonists, and makes him really interesting in his own right.
1:05 Glad that you included the safety lever after the safety pin being removed from the grenade. Most fail to acknowledge that. Also, same sound from FA:S (Firearms Source)
I love the fact that the crack of the gun isn't heard until the bullet is basically in his face because of the rolling thunder effect, this toon has loads of meat to it dispite it's short runtime. The amount of attention to detail gives a ton of rewatchability, absolutely amazing
Dude, I love the small details of this! I’ve rewatched this so many times seeing that at 0:11 The one eyed mustard agent has tape over the left binocular scope and how at 1:10 you can see that the other mustard agent had one of his fingers from his closest hand to the grenade, blown off from the explosion. I just absolutely love these small details.
I keep rewatching the series times and times again, and all I can say is that your animations are getting smoother and smoother by every episode. It's amazing. Keep up the awesome work dude!
1:21 Damn. Thats some amazing attention to detail there. You actually made the shot come from a downward angle rather than the typical hollywood "impossibly-shot-through-the-scope-from-long-range".
I finally understood what happened. They wanted to get inside Diss by the window, as it's shown at the start of the episode, but he hacked the communications making Rocky to shoot right to the door, killing his team.
1:20: Okay, that detail is fricken awesome. It's a million more times intimidating when you see the projectile coming at you than just a flash. Man, I'm not going to see movies the same after that one.
1:20 The amount of detail in just this short scene: - We see the shot slightly before hearing it, since light is faster than sound - There's bullet drop - After the soldat is shot you can see the curved bullet exiting his head
Agency: Shoot stun bomb in the window. Agency: No wait, shoot spicy rocket in the door, we not far on her. It'll totally work :D A.T.P Soldier: Oh yeah, it's 100% will work! And this not at all suspicious.
@@Shift1888 What's also a nice attention to detail is that the Soldat production facility showed that Soldats are tough, aggressive idiots compared to the more passive and smarter Engineers, so Doc's trick only worked specifically because a Soldat was tasked with being the rocket launcher guy. An agent or Engineer wouldn't be dumb enough to fall for that since stupidity is a uniquely exploitable weakness for Soldats.
I like that the rocket launcher guy barely hears the shot before getting hit with it because the VSS Vintorez 2BDamned uses is chambered in 9x19, a normally subsonic round, which makes it great for silenced weapons.
Well, the plan was to shoot a stun bomb through the window, but 2BDamned here hacked the instructions to instead blow up the door, which they didn't know.

imagine if there was a madness combat side-story that focuses on the agency's point of view. just full of AAHW special operations like raiding traitors and some POV (not first person though) of the agents behind the main camera during the main events of madness #.
That would actually be really cool
I'd like that tbh, since Project Nexus 2 features different enemy factions, there's potential for some animations featuring a squad of AAHW agents fighting against bandits, or mercenaries or the Nexus Core, etc. It'd be pretty dope.

And the fact that the video even contains a detail of the fact that the sleeve flies off after reloading also amazing.
@@reidj2226 krinkels really puts lots of efforts and detail into guns and shit
One of my favorite little gun detail moments was in, I think, sacrifice.fla.
Where Deimos grabs the slide of a handgun while a soldat was trying to shoot him with it, preventing the gun from cycling a new bullet into the chamber. Then when Deimos picks it up, he racks the slide and chambers a new round before going into the next room.
Krinkels puts a lot of love and effort into this series.

Either that or blindly following orders.
@@barthvader95the AAHW seem to have a more orderly stance when dealing with any other intruder. But all that goes out of the ordinary once Hank is brought into the equation. @@mystr0696 theyre smart, not combat experienced.

soldats are the rarer but more skilled fighters, although they are kinda dumb at times. they are pretty skilled and also acrobatic.
half mags act as some sort of support unit or mini tank for the aahw, also in the front lines willing to take bullets thanks to their high pain tolerance, but they are not as quick as regular agents.

1:13 This scene right here is so damn raw
This is amazing, love the fact you're keeping this universe alive. Madness is a big chunk of my life, thank you!
I’m happy to see the madness still exists
Going back to this video, I really like how Doc is the most "realistic" Madness Combat protagonist so far. I mean, Hank, Sanford, Deimos ans Jebus are one-man armies who can destroy dozens if not *hundreds* of opponents in epic gunfights that would make Matrix look boring in comparison, but Doc only kills a couple of guys and relies on cunning and deception rather than brute force when he has to fight. That alone sets him apart from other MC protagonists, and makes him really interesting in his own right.
I love how this artstyle is coming. The world seems more like a videogame now
1:05 Glad that you included the safety lever after the safety pin being removed from the grenade.
The lord & saviour of the Madness community’s done it again; awesome work.

I’d love to imagine that this isn’t even about Doc being aligned with Hank, he just has refused to pay taxes for way too long.
1:20 The amount of detail in just this short scene:
- We see the shot slightly before hearing it, since light is faster than sound
- There's bullet drop
- After the soldat is shot you can see the curved bullet exiting his head
0:55 This sound effect is so fucking awesome
Agency: Shoot stun bomb in the window.
Agency: No wait, shoot spicy rocket in the door, we not far on her.
It'll totally work :D
A.T.P Soldier: Oh yeah, it's 100% will work! And this not at all suspicious.
Well soldats are by far the dumbest of the bunch, they are good fighters but not the sharpest tools in the shed.
Ramen 2 damed hack the laptop to shot the door with explosive not the agency
Doc hacked it, you can see at 0:41 look at the left, to the chat hacker
Doc not only hacked that but if you look at the laptop the soldat is using after he fires, it says LMFAO, dumbass signed BIG D(issenter)
@@Shift1888
What's also a nice attention to detail is that the Soldat production facility showed that Soldats are tough, aggressive idiots compared to the more passive and smarter Engineers, so Doc's trick only worked specifically because a Soldat was tasked with being the rocket launcher guy.
