Things in life tend to come full circle. When the 'Philly Hardcore Compilation - Get Off My Back' album came out in1983, it was given to me for a birthday present. Autistic Behavior are one of the first true punk bands that I had an appreciation for. I kept that record and when my son Sean (now 25) was growing up, (he was actually around six years old...) he took a liking to it and I let him keep it. He still has my 1st copy. I acquired a second copy later on in life. Craig and I met at The Philadelphia Record Exchange at a Boogie Witch Jam about six years ago, We have been together as a couple for a year. This record/CD is a complete labor of love. SRA (Bruce) has been working so diligently with Craig to complete this masterpiece. Many, many thanks. Craig, I love you! Congratulations and WELL DONE! A special thanks to Lenny Crunch for not only finding AB cassette recordings, but being such a great friend to the both of us and one totally amazing dude!
The most influential band in my life. These guys played everywhere & we followed... The album is a labor of love & will finally be out April 2014 Thanks to Craig Surgent & SRA Records. Hey John Smith, Where the Fuck Are You?
Yo man! Long time no see. Glad to say that this coming "Record Store Day", April 21st, will be the actual release date. Only 32 years in the making! Thanks!
Great record, have been waiting for it for over 20 years when I found my older sister's demo tape in her old collection. I think she sold it on Ebay like 10 years ago. Bummer.
Trivia: The album name Shattered Cattle came to me in a dream about Jello Biafra. Sick dream I know lol. When I told Jello the dream his reaction was " I love it, Iove it, you should name the band Shattered Cattle and name the album Autistic Behavior" True story.
Good grief, it's about time. Lol I'm glad we didn't get killed that night at the Starlite Ballroom in Kensington. All i remember was me and cousin Johnny thowing his kit in the Torino just as some giant crazed drunk doped up nut job went on a rampage and started trashing the joint. We were standing in the back alley when he popped out and looked at us with i'm gonna kill you both in his eyes. We pulled a Bo and Luke Duke into the Torino and one wheel peeled our asses back to jersey.
