IOSH Webinars: Managing Fatigue by Dan Basacik

The IOSH Railway Group host a webinar covering managing fatigue, presented by Dan Basacik, Human Factors Specialist, Railway Safety and Standards Board. The presentation is a discussion on the research, advisory documents and tools available from RSSB to support effective fatigue management.
Dan is a Lead Human Factors Specialist at RSSB. He is a Chartered Ergonomist with twelve years’ experience in road and railway safety. In his time at RSSB Dan has worked on projects to do with signals passed at danger, passenger safety at station platforms, incident investigations and road user behaviour at level crossings. Part of Dan’s role involves developing and leading RSSB’s work on fatigue and alertness; this ranges from Research and Development projects to member enquiries and supporting cross-industry collaboration.
